Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Young group of actors / comedians which make a great effort to take the piss out of current events and/or celebrities. Very entertaining evening for a very small amount. Need to be booked beforehand. Drinks are available from the downstairs Bridge House Pub. It´s a very small intimate atmosphere and it could get a bit warm in the room. Enjoy

This is a great little venue for theatre - it’s the upper floor of The Bridge House Pub in Delamere Tce. A group of us booked tickets for the long running, popular Newsreview ‘Fifty Shades of May’ Highly recommended!

Very well put together, good entertainment and easy parking. What more can one want after a lovely meal (elsewhere) to round an evening off.

We went to see the show of 3 March and had a good time. Cute little theatre, the performers did a good job, excellent singing. However, the piano was much too loud and made it impossible to understand the texts at times. This really was a shame and I can only hope the pianist will take some advise as how to improve his part of the show. The music is there to underpin the performers, not to overshadow them!

This is about the 5th time we have been to this quirky theatre above a pub. It’s a bit squishy- but who cares. You can take drinks in and you sit at a table....A cast of 4 plus musical director/pianist are on stage with an hour of musical skits based on the latest news. Very clever, much laughing. Only costs between £12-£15. We ate ate the food pub downstairs first, usually good but were not treated well this time. See my review for The Bridge House.

Set in a lovely old mansion abutting a canal this theatre restauarant offers a better atmoshere than jujst going to the local pub. We were with a couple of vegetarians and the menu was good for them and for us. Pleasant place to spend some quiet time over a drink and a meal. I am told the theatre upstairs is well worth a visit.

What a lovely venue for a drink and a bite to eat before heading upstairs to an intimate room to witness such fabulous live talent as Tracy Collins a.k.a. Tina Turner Tea Lady/Barber Streisand/Audrey Heartburn. Revisted to watch the fabulous News Revue 2017, funky, fabulous, flawless - highly recommended for a night out.

It's a very cozy theatre on the first floor of a nice old pub in a lovely area. The show was timely at this time with loads of themes surrounding political topic. Real fun with friends.
