It's hard to believe that a fully fledged country stable exists in the middle of London but tucked away in a quiet mews is this charming riding school. My two daughters and I visited there and were made to feel very welcome. We went for a ride in Hyde Park, including the famous Rotten Row. The leaders were very accommodating... More

During our two week stay in London one item on our list of MUST DO's was horse riding in Hyde Park. We rode first with Hyde Park Stables and were extremely disappointed. But then we found a gem of a stable called Ross Nye and were so impressed that we rode with them not only once, but twice! The horses... More

Our group of seven rode this morning in Hyde Park. We ranged from quite experienced riders to several who had never been on a horse before. But we had an absolutely incredible experience due to the quality of horses and guides who accompanied us. I was one of the fortunate who had the opportunity to not only walk and trot... More

Thank you to Connie, the super friendly instructor for a lovely ride today through the cobbled streets and into Hyde park. It was a thrill to trot through the park on Archie - what a lovely pony with a great personality. I felt my horse was well matched to my ability and appreciated being able to ride and take in... In the 19th century, riding or driving your horse in the Row was what made you a social star. While it doesn't exactly convey the same benefits today, it's probably one of the nicest ways to enjoy Hyde Park. I didn't canter, but did enjoy several nice posting trot down Rotten Row and other paths, feeling like I was channeling... More

Booked a hack through the park. The horse, Q.H, was really well behaved. Nice stretches where we could canter (in HYDE PARK!!!) Everything I could have asked for. Thanks Emily.

We have a delightful ride this morning with Mimi and Kirst. They were most attentive to our needs. Though we brought boots and breeches from home, we were able to borrow first rate helmets which were awkward to pack. The horses were well cared for and seemed to enjoy their jobs, We walked, trotted and cantered about the horse trail... More

Had a really enjoyable ride out round Hyde Park with Ross Nye Stables. It was the highlight of my day and made my 50th birthday celebrations very memorable. The team was very welcoming and friendly; one of the reasons I chose Ross Nye after reading other reviews. They cater for all types of abilities and pair you up with the... More
