I and my husband had the most wonderful afternoon tea lesson in the beginning of December. This was my third time and my husband first time at Giuliana's beautiful home but not our last. We made salmon and cucumber sandwich and baked scones. It was fun. We learned everything about how to make afternoon tea and the history about the tradition. And in the end we enjoyed a real afternoon tea! Giuliana is a great teacher and a wonderful host and we really enjoyed our lesson.
We can highly recommend this lesson!

I spent a morning at Giuliana's with few other ladies learning to make scones, sandwiches (salmon, cucumber, egg salad) and how to brew proper tea. After the preparation we enjoyed sitting in the drawing room and drinking tea and eating the scones, sandwiches and pastries. It was great to hear about the history, origin, etiquette and presentation of the traditional British afternoon tea. We also each got a recipe booklet and take home treats. Giuliana and her assistant were engaging, helpful and hospitable. It was also a wonderful experience to visit a lovely Victorian home. I am looking forward to replicating this experience for my friends and family!

My mom and I had a wonderful time at this lesson. We were warmly welcomed by Giuliana. We met the six other people who were all lovely. This is just such a great thing to do. It’s informative, historical, cultural, and delicious. The instructions are clear and easy. I will return home and put on an afternoon tea for friends.
I also bought her book as a souvenir. When you leave, you leave happy with a full belly, recipe packet from what you just made, and a ‘to-go’ box of a scone and treat for later. It was so well done, and I really enjoyed being inside an English home. My mom and I both highly recommend this activity!

Afternoon tea at Giuliana's lovely home in St. john's Wood was one of the highlights of my recent trip to London. Not only do you enjoy a most delicious afternoon tea, but you are taught how to prepare it. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly and everyone and the hostess, Giuliana, is so gracious and welcoming.
A 'must do' when you next go to London. A great way to relax and learn.

I honestly thought this was going to be a baking/cooking lesson but Giuliana shared SO much for this experience. She discussed several history facts about afternoon tea culture of England and explained different types of tea. Unless you research in depth a head of time, I think a lot of people don't know about the history of Afternoon tea and how it transformed over hundreds of years. That was the best, unexpected part of this experience! Cooking/Baking part was so much fun- It was very hands on, fun, informative session even for me who bakes on regular basis and have a small baking business. She was very kind and welcomed me into her lovely home. Highly recommended.

My mother (75) and I spent 3.5 hours in her home for the class. I bought this for my mothers day and it was so fun! We learned about teas, how to set up a proper tea and a little on the history of tea. It was great paced, felt leisurely, but never boring! I highly recommend this class to everyone.

I did both Giuliana's afternoon tea lesson and her baking class. Both classes were really enjoyable and Giuliana made me feel so welcome in her beautiful Victorian home. It was really fun to learn all about the art of afternoon tea. You can tell there had been a huge amount of thought and care put into planning the day and the recipes were really yummy. I'm definitely going to try making the scones at home!
