I can’t recommend highly enough. We went on one of these wonderful tours before lockdown. What a brilliant unforgettable day! It’s a private tour in a black cab, with just your small gang. I bought it as a birthday gift for my cousin (who has travelled the world and have everything. So this was a unique ‘experience’ gift, and she LOVED it) We all live in London, but love learning more about this amazing city and are huge music fans. Steve is a really wonderful guy- he’s hugely knowledgeable, fun, kind, thoughtful and made the day so special. We could have chatted with him all day. He felt like a friend by the end of it! His knowledge of London’s music history is exceptional. We are locals and thought we knew a lot, but Steve’s knowledge kept having us say ‘no way!’ ‘I’ve passed that place 100 times and never knew!’ Etc etc. It’s sooooo special to have a tour of London all to yourself, in the back of iconic black cab. Asking as many qs as you want and being able to tweak to your needs. Our tour covered music from many decades, but particularly focused on the legends. I’ll be taking my mum and brother on another your when covid lockdowns have lifted, as they have been so jealous when they heard how good it was. Also I can imagine in the post covid world, it’ll feel reassuring to be whisked around busy London in the safety of a taxi bubble, rather than mix with the throngs on the streets! Brilliant. Steve was a great host, incredible knowledge and fantastic stories that made the journey around some of London’s Rock Legends hang outs, homes, and iconic landmarks really enjoyable. Steve was very flexible and really made the effort to “tweak” the tour to take in the favourite bands and music of our son, who is the “Rock Star” of our family. Steve was even able to arrange a visit to a guitar shop where our son was able to “jam” and play some of his most favourite guitars…! London, for the 60-70’s was the panicle of the music world; the tour gave us a small insight into some of the people and places that gave us the music we all love today. This really is a 5-star day out, just brilliant. 100% recommended.…
