This is a great walking tour, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting or living in London -- I have lived in London for 8 years yet this was entirely new to me! It made me want to learn more about the Russian revolution and Leninism by transporting me to a completely different time. Margarita is great at storytelling and has a rich overall knowledge of Russian history, which made for in-depth explanations to all and any questions asked. Book, book, book!

Margarita was a great guide and picked lots of interesting spots to paint a picture of the young Lenin and his experiences in London prior to the Russian revolution. Well worth it!

It was a very enjoyable tour. Very informative and interesting. I still remember all the facts and locations we visited, which proves how educational it was too. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly too. At times I felt that I was there when all these historical figures met!

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Margarita is a wonderful speaker, engaging storyteller, and her enthusiasm for her subject matter is infectious :) She is incredibly knowledgeable and will answer questions in depth and in a manner that makes you want to keep learning more about Russian revolutionary history.
The tour was absolutely perfect, I enjoyed myself thoroughly and learned so much about Lenin, the Russian Revolution, London and lots more.
I will be going again!

This is fantastic walking tour. Margarita is very enthusiastic engaging the audience and let them picture the view of London back in the days of Lenin. This Russian young lady is also very resourceful with places such as restaurants, houses, and a museum. She also has some surprises along the way. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to know more of London, Lenin and history.

I really enjoyed this tour of a number of the most interesting spots in London for Russian revolutionary history. Margarita is an excellent guide - she combines an extremely in-depth knowledge of Lenin's pre-revolution years in London with humour and a really engaging approach. I highly recommend the tour to anyone with an interest in this period of history or who just wants to learn about a different side of London.

This tour with Margarita was very fun and engaging! She's a charming woman and an excellent storyteller. The tour is very well structured, and I enjoyed its interactive elements. This is no boring lecture, but a thoroughly enjoyable look into a brief moment in Communist history. I recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in history, regardless of their political views!

My husband and I really enjoyed learning about the life of Lenin and the Russian Revolution courtesy of our charming tour guide. It was an absolute gorgeous day for it too! But to be honest, I didn't know a lot about Lenin and the Russian Revolution and found it fascinating to see how big a part London played and how his life unfolded in the short time he spent here... And the people he met! It just goes to show you the influence this city and country has had on the world for centuries. Well worth the walk through the fabulous Kings Cross, Islington and Farringdon! Thank you for the fabulous opportunity.

What a great few hours! Margarita knows a huge amount about Lenin’s time in London, and wove together a story about why he visited and spent so much time here.

There were some great stops that are definitely off the tourist trail, and the tour ends at a pub for a refreshing drink!

Margarita is an excellent educator and has clearly gone to great lengths to prepare a tour that is interesting, accessible, informative, even exciting as you begin to get drawn in by the story. Walking around familiar London landmarks and seeing a completely different side to them is an enriching and engaging experience. The enthralling nature of the story Margarita tells is matched by the infectious enthusiasm with which she delivers it. We were in quite a small group and so I could ask as many questions as I liked during the tour - which was great, as I knew next to nothing about Russia history before the tour.

I would definitely recommend this tour for pretty much anyone. If you have even the slightest interest in Russia, or if you want to add some solid entries to your London anecdotes repertoire, then you should definitely check it out.
