Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Myself and my partner went to look around the cecil sharp house yesterday afternoon.
We were very impressed, and found it very interesting.
We decided to have lunch in the down stairs cafe. We were served by a lovely young lady, had a light lunch
It was very good.
We are certainly, looking forward to
Coming in December, to see one of our favourite folk duos

Attended a large celebration event at Cecil Sharp House. Reasonably easy to find from Camden Tube station - once you have oriented yourself!!
Large spacious hall, catering at the event was very good.

Cecil Sharp House is a superb example of 1930s 'institutional' architecture; it will remind many British visitors 'of a certain age' of their school - it certainly did remind me of mine. The interior has been kept in good condition and the only negative point I would make is that the foyer/lobby/reception area is rather small - taking into account the potential number of visitors for a busy event. We attended a sold-out recital in the large Kennedy Hall, but the venue has other smaller rooms as well.
The modern LED lighting and traditional wooden panelling of the Kennedy Hall made for an esoteric mix of styles. As a bonus we greatly enjoyed the recital!

I was at the Cecil Sharp House for a Ballroom & Latin afternoon courtesy of Camden Council. This venue is really lovely with lots of dance and music events happening all the time so it's well worth being on their mailing list.

You can also hire it for private functions so its' ideal for that too.

The staff were all highly presentable, lovely and bent over backwards for our very large group, which was lovely.

I particularly liked the Cafe which has the most beautiful food on display.Sadly nothing was vegan for me but they did have soy milk for my tea {£1.50 with no extra charge for soy milk} so that was good and I really liked the seated areas down there, it's very cozy.

It's all well appointed with Disabled toilets on ground floor and regular ones down a flight of stairs though there is also a lift to the cafe and toilets which will appease any accessibility issues.

Toilets are very clean but basic and really could do with refurbishing as they seem tired and old.

Camden Town (Northern Line) is the nearest tube station. From escalators, turn right using those exit gates, cross road at the traffic lights on the right, you'll walk past an Odeon cinema on the right. It's a 10 minute walk to a major junction where you turn right and cross zebra crossing and you're on the block for Cecil Sharp House (as my photo shows) plus you'll see the posters before you reach the entrance. You need to walk down the left side of the building which then leads you to the.

Came here today for Open House 2019.I am interested in art deco.I didn't find the main hall particularly interesting. However the Vaughn Williams library made up for it.A sunburnt clock and deco light fittings in a suitable setting made it worthwhile.
