About
The Stand-Up Club run comedy clubs across London and the South of England. We also organise the British Comedian of the Year competition, open to every comedian of all levels, with the biggest cash prize in UK comedy of £10,001. Our flagship club is in Piccadilly, London which runs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night throughout the year. Every Saturday night we have a fab intimate show in London Bridge. Wednesdays sees us in Soho, and once a month we head to Tooting and Notting Hill. We also bring our London line-ups to the South-East with regular shows in Alton, Windsor, Marlow and Fleet. We run one-off comedy shows for private businesses, and we are specialists at charity fundraiser shows for school PTAs and Sports Clubs.

Went with two adult children on a spur of the moment as we were in London for a few days. It was a great evening with a great participative audience. Hosted by the very funny Currer Ball and some great acts(sorry but can't remember names) and loads of laughs. Great compact atmospheric venue. Would highly recommend.

I went with my husband and another couple we used a buy a gift voucher, however when we got there they did not have our names on the list. The staff could not have have been more accommodating, fantastic customer care, they sorted out the problem and ensured we had excellent seats. The acts were brilliant, but the star of the show has to go to the young Aussie lad Patrick he not only was a wonderful host on the door he had us in stitches in our seats, that he also put out before the show, he certainly he a man of many talents.

Booked tickets on a whim and they did not disappoint. Strong line up of comics and solid value for money. Thanks for the great night!

Obviously this my opinion but... I've been twice now, first time 6 stand up's, two awful, sadly the ladies, three not bad, one tears in my eyes with laughter. Went tonight, oh dear, four just awful, strained laughter, cringy. Mabel delightful and Maxim just great, but otherwise all a bit of a shame really. Great guy leading and running the show, wishing him the best of luck.

HI there - we have never used any of the acts you mention, this is not a review for a Stand-Up Club night. There are other weekly weeknight comedy shows at the venue run by other companies but this is not our club, please could you remove as it is damaging to our reputation as we're sure you'd appreciate. Thank you!

We booked a weekend away in London for a birthday weekend. On our first evening out we visited the The Stand Up Club.
We were warmly greeted and invited to use the bar prior to the show.
We arrived early so had the pick of seats as seats are not pre-booked. There are rows of chairs or tables to sit at. This is a small venue so all seats have a great view.
The host and the acts were all entertaining and gave us a good laugh. There was a variety of styles which depends on the comedian on the night.
Overall a great evening.

Love the place! It is low key and the line up was diverse and great! All very funny!
The shows happen in two rooms above the bar beneath. They give two breaks of 15 so we can get fluids downstairs.
There were four comedians on the line on that day.

Fluids are vital! Keep hydrated with plenty of beer, wine, spirits. Thanks for the nice review, please come back and no sneaking a hip flask in your pocket to avoid having to use the stairs to the bar ;)

Whether you are a tourist or a local, if you are looking for a soul lifting abdominal workout look no further than the Comedy Pub. This place has some of the most generous and kind staff out there, a great variety of acts and jokes that made me laugh myself to peer embarrassment. Go for a drink, a laugh or a great time with friends or family. Highly Recommended!

Having read the 5-star reviews the Stand-Up comedy club did not let us down - one of the best comedy nights we've ever been with fresh acts who kept us laughing and in stitches all night!

The Stand Up Club is a really fun night out. I've been to tonnes of comedy nights and this was one is really warm and welcoming. The acts were outstanding and it was held together brilliantly by the MC. I will be back! :-)

The Stand Up Club is on the first floor in a pub called the Comedy Pub very near to Leicester Square where we were having dinner. We wanted something to do after and I love comedy and luckily there were a few tickets left so you can buy on the door.
All of the comedians were funny. Usually there's one I don't like as much but not tonight. It was nice to see a good female comedian as well called Jenny Collier. The host was spot on with his banter and some good jokes. The final comedian was a bit older and I wasn't sure if I'd like him or not but he was so funny (Otiz someone) even though it wasn't my favourite type of comedy.
This was one of the most friendly places I have been to see comedy and everyone left smiling. I would recommend this to anyone and I will definitely be coming back again soon.
