Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a great walk around some of the most atmospheric and spooky parts of old London. I liked the mixture of stories - from local history and horror/myth - that added a whole new dimension to familiar places and buildings. Thanks for a fun evening!

A couple of friends and I went on the Tuesday evening ghost tour, and it was absolutely brilliant! We saw beautiful parts of London that I've never seen before, even though they're just a street away from the 'mainstream' attractions, and there was a good balance of walking the streets and stopping to admire the ghost story sites. There was a good blend of ghost stories from a range of different time periods, and I definitely learned a lot! I have been on a lot of ghost tours in a number of cities in the UK and I can't recommend this one highly enough.

One of the most interesting tours I have ever experienced. Being a Londoner there is so much I realise I didn't know about my own city. Highly recommend to everyone.

New company so was a bit sceptical but what a great tour! We did the 60s tour and it was brilliant. The guide clearly knew his stuff and showed us some really interesting places. I took my Scottish boyfriend as he doesn’t really know London and he got to learn things and see parts of the city we wouldn’t have gone to otherwise.
Thanks for the great 2 hours and we’ll definitely be back for another one!

This trip is not a Light of London Tour but Tour of Southbank! JP who was meant to do a trip promised to arrange refund and never tend to do it
After several emails I never got refund or any resolution
Paid for trip that didn’t take place and company was happy to get paid for nothing
Do yourself a favour and find decent company for a trip!

Hi Joanna,
Obviously we've had a lengthy email discussion about this. The product is clear as to what it is in the description. You arrived expecting a bus which has never been mentioned in any of our documentation which explicitly states that this is a walking tour. Our guide was there with you and willing to tailor the tour to your needs but you wanted to cancel there and then. We don't offer refunds at such late notice but we were more than happy to accommodate you and your entire group. We even offered you a free tour at a date of your choosing but you didn't want to take us up on it. We're very sorry that you had a bad experience.

I was looking for something to do on a night out in London with two teenagers, and this turned out to be the perfect choice! I was worried that they would be bored, on their phones, and potentially hit by a car as we jogged through London behind a tour guide shouting at us all to keep up. I am delighted to say, it was nothing like that! The kids didn't get their phones out once! The tour guide was obviously an experienced story teller and he had them hooked from the start. We moved through London at a sensible pace and the regular stops made it an easy walk. Our story teller guide was happy to answer questions as we walked - he obviously knows his stuff! All in all a great way to see the bits of London that you wouldn't notice, if someone wasn't pointing them out to you (like finding Platform 9 3/4!!!). On the way home, everyone had their favourite ghost story, and they were all different. Can't argue with that!

We spent a fascinating morning discovering things we never knew about the area we have lived in for the past 36 years! The Admiral Lord Nelson connection and the Merton Priory excavations visits were highlights. Well informed guide, Tony, took good care of us .
A great experience - would recommend it.

I did this tour just before Christmas. It starts in Leicester Square, a place I have been to many times but never actually paid much attention to the statues. You then head down to Trafalgar Square, I thought I knew all there was to know about what is in that area but I was in for a treat with all the historical knowledge imparted by our guide. You then take a leisurely stroll towards Parliament Square stopping by many statues along the way. I have missed much of this in the past as your attention is usually taken by Horse Guards Parade and Downing Street then the Houses of Parliament buildings. The tour lasts around 2 hours but you hardly notice the time going by because it is so interesting and the guide is so entertaining and knowledgeable. If you think you know London you will know so much more after one of these tours. I highly recommend it as part of your next visit to London.

My Daughter booked this tour for me as a birthday treat as she knows I love the big smoke, history and music so this was the perfect tour for me! JP was our guide and he was articulate, amusing and very knowledgeable and we had a thoroughly awesome time even in the wet weather! I apparently am not as good at explaining all the great places I visited to family and friends so we are hoping to book again soon as a group and I am also looking forward to booking other tours, which I’m sure will be given the same enthusiastic approach and great research and planning! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Lord Price London experience for a professional, entertaining tour in the best city in the world!

We are a charity for unpaid carers who wanted to give carers in Merton a little time out from their caring role. We started working with the LordPrice London Experience to offer something a bit different from our usual activities Our first tour was 'The Swinging 60's' which was led by tour guide Tony. It was a really fabulous tour, so much fun and really interesting. The ground covered wasn't too far so those who joined us who had some mobility issues were able to keep up once we had slowed Tony down!
Since our 60's tour Tony designed a specific tour for us around the history in the London Borough of Merton - what an amazing tour and the LordPrice Experience has really done their research - who knew Merton had such a wonderful history - feed back from an attendee reads ' Most interesting and fascinating historic tour walk I have experienced in my life so far! It was a totally a great day out - The walk leader was very clear and precise in his explanation concerning people and places. I would join the walk again at any time' The LordPrice London Experience are a really well organised, flexible and great organisation to work with and look forward to sharing more walks with them.
