This is a review of two parts - first, the Brit Boat. It’s an excellent idea, very novel and well executed. The range of beer on-board could have been better (I’m a bitter drinker but the only pints available were lager). Boarding and disembarkation all went well and to time And the staff were perfectly friendly enough. The only disadvantage of going to a gig on a boat is that if the bands are awful you can’t leave! The bass player was just that, didn’t sing any of the Gene Simmons numbers. The less said about the guitarist the better, it was the drummer that held it all together. Guns 2 Roses were musically better but the attitude stinks. They had technical issues (these things happen) but the singer just popped out for a smoke and left the audience gazing around the room. And the less said about “Slash’s” little the tantrum the better - you don’t stop half way through a song to berate the whole audience because two or three people got too close to your gear. You’re not ACTUAL Guns n Roses you know. The Most “Dangerous” Band on the Boat maybe...…
