Alladin

Alladin panto is a must, the theatre is well located a minute away from the underground station. With bars and a nice terrace. Will return.

The lyric is a reassembled opera house I believe, that was due to be demolished but was saved, and the rebuilt inside an ugly concrete block. However once inside its a quite delightful building and all credit to those who had the foresight and wherewithall to save it. We were here to see Alladin as a treat for our grandson... More

We went to see Aladdin in pantomime and what a great show. The children were entertained throughout as were the adults. It was an excellent script with some very funny jokes. The cast were brilliant. The audience was hooked from beginning to end. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The stage is lovely and the atmosphere is capturing. I... More

If Bugsy Malone is any indication, the future of the West End is bright Kudos for an ambitious first production! The Lyric Hammersmith has successfully directed 35 actors aged 9 to 22 (with 7 leads under 16!)to produce a polished production of Bugsy Malone. The standout was Eleanor Worthington-Cox as Bugsy’s wisecracking, would-be starlet sweetheart Blousey, her voice gave me... More

Small theatre for various shows. Very hot in the summer inside the venue but overall a good feel. I liked the roof top garden. The restaurant is a grill/Kebab style which was nice also.

My husband and I had a fantastic time when we visited the Hammersmith to see Bugsy Malone. We'd definitely recommend it as being better than the film! The production, in our opinion, have looked at the weaker areas of the film and have improved these scenes a hundred fold! Fantastic energy and talent! One thing about the Hammersmith itself, the... Loved this venue. Such friendly staff and great space. My sister and I watched a Midsummer Night's Dream a few months ago and was absolutely hilarious. Our seats got upgraded as it was not sold out which was a bonus and would definitely go again!

Every Thursday and Friday there is a good food market in Hammersith at lyric square. They are starting from 11 till 15. Depends on the demand. I have tried few times the food from there and every time was happily amazed. First time I tried Jamaican jerk chicken with brown rise which was delicious and a huge portion. Second time... More

My three stars for Lyric is not for the Bugsy Malone performance which was brilliant nor for hard working people at the theatre but for the broken air conditioning system which made sitting at the theatre unbearable! The show was amazing, the performers were excellent and songs were so so good. The talent these young people have is inspiring. I... More

Something a bit different here, and I mustn't be too harsh, as everybody worked there socks off and seemed committed to giving the best show they could. Anybody whos seen the film will be aware of whats going on, for those who havent(like me) its basically a gangster story played out by kids, in the main. Cant fault the effort... More
