This gallery never seems busy but has one of the best collections anywhere in the world. It’s so nice to visit and have space and time to look at serious masterpieces in a way that you just can’t at say the National Gallery, Musee dOrsay...More

This is a nice art gallery, if you do not mind paying an entrance fee and also I guess if you want to introduce children to art then I'd suggest taking them to the museum though perhaps not as well as the National Gallery. I...More

We love the Courtauld where there is a great collection of impressionist and post impressionist paintings and special exhibitions. It is a beautiful building with a number of galleries, but it is not enormous, therefore just a joy to visit for two hours and feel...More

We were very lucky to find this hidden gem while in London. I did not see it in any travel guide, but they have a top notch collection of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings. I would highly recommend the gallery.

The Courtauld Gallery is a grand but also intimate museum. The paintings are in great condition and displayed graciously in very grand rooms. The gallery is not very large, but the quality of the art works is very high.

I hadn't realised what a fantastic collection there is at the Courtauld and was very excited to see some iconic impressionist paintings alongside some other wonderful art. The gallery was also bigger than I had anticipated and reasonably priced at £8 for adults, but free...More

A relatively small gallery that stands medieval through to modern art. It’s possible to really enjoy the art and not feel overwhelmed as can happen in some bigger galleries.

Second museum with Impressionists to the National. Worth seeing and having a drink in the Courtyard.

£8 per adult, less for seniors and children. Check if there are any offers on line etc we were using British Rail to and from London and you can get 2 for 1 on entry but you need to apply in advance and download a voucher.
