This is an excellent spa but I was glad I read up on the facilities and other reviews before attending. (hence the title of my review!) -In the hotel its down the steps to lower level but ask at reception and they will point you in right direction. - If you are using a Groupon PLEASE print and bring it... Went to the Sanook Spa as a birthday gift for my friend and boy was it terrible! We arrived just on time but spent 30 minutes trying to get Groupon voucher code for the inexperienced staff to redeem the voucher. Had a terrible massage which ended up giving me back pains and had to go see a back specialist because... More

This was a Groupon voucher for myself and daughter for Christmas. On arrival there was no reception, which we found strange and no-one around, we weren't sure whether we should wait or go ahead into the spa; luckily reception in the main hotel were helpful and directed us. This was abit offputting to start with and a notice on arrival... More

My daughter & I were using up a Groupon voucher that we received for Christmas. The welcome was efficient, however we were rather surprised & disappointed by how small the facilities were. We had hot stone massages & facials which I enjoyed but my daughter found the back massage rather painful and the masseuse at no point checked with her... More

My daughter and I visited with a Groupon for hot stone massages and facials. In the communications prior to our appointments, we found the staff pleasant and responsive. On the day I was slightly surprised by how small the facility is. There is no reception desk, for example, but the space itself was attractive and well maintained. In person, again,... More

Contrary to the other reviews I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience at the Sanook Spa. We bought the deal from Groupon which included a hot stone massage and a facial. We arrived slightly early and made sure we printed the voucher (having looked below), and we had some time in the sauna before our massage. The treatments were... More

As a spa junkie I would rate the so called "spa" and the lack of the therapists basic customer service manners as low as a 2 star crap. The atmosphere was hostile and the pool was as freezing as the therapists attitude. As I walked in instead of welcoming me with a smile I was told that me being 15... More

The therapists were extremely rude and gave me a 20minute appointment instead of an hour because I arrived 10min late and charged the full fee! they refused to give me the full treatment because they claimed to be fully booked but after my appointment the spa was empty for over an hour! I spent £100 and was treated awfully by... More

I booked a groupon voucher with this spa for my mum's birthday and it was the worst spa experience we ever had. There was no one there to book us in, the staff were useless and confused, they could only give us one locker to share, (which didn't fit all our stuff so we were carrying our bags around all... The facilities are average. They only have space and resources for 2 people. The staff/masseuses are extremely rude, have poor customer service and cut our massage time by half an hour because we had to print out our Groupon voucher (when the email specifically stated that we shouldn't unnecessarily print out the voucher etc). My friends and I are definitely... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
