Meeting in the famous Blind Beggar boozer for a swift pint before departing in a two and half tour of Whitechapel gangster and film set hotspots. Our guide Stephen Marcus alias Nick the Greek from lock stock was full of knowledge about the Krays and other dodgy villains, plus films which were shot around the area. Loved every minute, Stephen... More

I had no idea that so many scenes from Harry Potter were filmed in central London. Our guide Val was very knowledgeable about both Harry Potter, and general London attractions. Her enthusiasm was infectious and we had a very enjoyable 3 hours.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the Made in Chelsea tour on Saturday 19th November. Dewi the tour guide was the ideal person for the job, keeping a close eye on everyone and giving us all the gossip. He was very warm and friendly and really engaged well with everyone. Great for Made in Chelsea fans.

Demi our tour guide was exceptional. The weather was awful but he kept us all enthused and was extremely entertaining. Highly recommended.

My auntie brought this tour for my dad as a christmas present, I also joined him and was slightly nervous as I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore fan. We're both from Nottingham and came just for the day, so our trip also included train costs. Fortunately it was a lovely sunny day and we both thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The... More

Dewi was an excellent tour guide whose enthusiasm and depth of knowledge shone through. He was a superb guide, not least because he has a powerful, projecting delivery so nothing was missed or carried away on the breeze. Lots of interesting locations not just to do with Dr Who including some things that I, who lived and worked in London for... More

This was part of a weekend trip to London to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. She's the Sherlock fan. We had Dewi as our tour guide. A real Sherlock geek, knowledgeable and entertaining. I thought perhaps two hours would have been a bit long but it wasn't. We had never done a walking tour before but it won't have been... More

I'm so cross we was in the Blind Beggar public house waiting for the tour at 12.45 having a coffee for a tour which we thought was starting at 2pm which I had seen on another website when it got to 1.45 and no sign of other people or guide we thought we would asked to be told the tour... More

Hi we're sorry to hear you missed the tour. Im afraid the Gangster London tour starts at 1pm and always has done. It states clearly on our website that its a 1pm start plus your email confirmation that you received from us states this too. We would have preferred you coming to us directly to see if we could remedy... More

My family all went on this walking tour - 3 hardcore Dr Who fans, including boys aged 9 and 11, and husband, plus myself, who has watched it a bit! The meeting point was a little bit vague, as said by others. Cafe Nerro is not particularly near Platform 13 and we were told there is a Cafe Nero downstairs... More

We had a fab day seeing the sights of James Bond locations and learning more about Mr Bond. Our guide Russell was informative, knowledgeable and entertaining. He made the whole experience a joy.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
