You will never forget the theatrical event that is Disney's THE LION KING. Brilliantly re-imagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor, Disney's beloved film has been transformed into a spectacular stage production that explodes with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music. At its heart is the powerful and moving story of Simba - the epic adventure of his journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands. 'There is simply nothing else like it.' This was the first musical I've ever visited, since I'm was never a big fan of theatre or musical, but I had the greatest time in the Lyceum theatre. I can't describe the experience, but it's definetly a must-see when you're visiting London. The cast and decors are amazing!!

The show was great, the opening scene alone is worth a watch. Rafiki was my personal favourite - very funny and entertaining!! Zazu was wonderful. The costumes were beautiful, and the puppetry was fantastic - the shadow puppets really bought the action to life! However, in one scene, Scar ran his hand up Nalas thigh. This isn't in the film,... This was groundbreaking when it first hit the stage but now feels tired. When we went to see it the quality of the singing was weak - it's almost as if they don't need to try too hard because the tourists flock anyway. I must say, my partner and I thought the show was awful, my mother-in-law absolutely loved it... More

The presentation was amazing!!! I can't help but sing along to the songs. The costumes and props keep me wondering how they were able to do that! Too bad we weren't able to take our son since he's just 2 years old. He would have loved it!

My wife and I have seen this show several times in NYC and we were very underwhelmed after seeing it in the west end. The acting and overall production is simply better on broadway. If you can see it in NYC don't bother seeing it in London.

You don't need to be the die-hard Lion King/Disney fans to watch this theatrical act. I believe you will be watching the act with big smile, full of joy. They play the characters really good. Stage production was awesome and fantastic. The dance, the singing, the properties.. the skills. Everything adds up and integrated flawlessly, left a memorable moments for... More

The Musical never is as good as the film but it was ok. Somethimes the music is very boring. Therefore it is a great show with magnificent custumes an effects. The Theatre ist a bit odd...
