    Beautiful, touching, engaging…… loved it
What a thoroughly magical evening with my wife at the Lyceum Theatre London…… great performances, great set, great musicality. Congrats to entire cast and the behind scenes staff. That said, I find it really disrespectful when people turn up late and disrupt everyone or, decide to come back late after the interval. I also expected people to make an effort when they go to the theatre but, no. Lots of people dressed very casually borderline untidy. Come on people - give the shows and theatre some respect and make an effort. Where have the good old British values gone?

Lion King - The Musical, is the BEST!
As three generations of our family left the Lyceum Theatre, all were smiling from ear to ear. Exhilarated by the performance they has just witnessed. Definitely still the best in musical!! PS: if you can purchase a stalls aisle seat, you're in for an extra surprise or two....

    Wonderful yet again
Wonderful yet again. We have seen The Lion King before and it is absolutely fabulous . This time we booked hospitality with nibbles and drinks before the show and ice cream at the interval. We did not have to join the long queue outside to get in but had our own entrance and were escorted to a private room. All the staff were friendly polite and helpful and took us down to our seats before the show started. We will be back again

    Great musical!
Went with my 7 year old boy While he enjoyed the musical, there were moments in the musical that he found to be a bit dull. Overall length is alright for an adult but might be too long for kids. Great production and nice sets. Singing and the movement on stage was great. Nice musical!

    Good but very expensive
Some of the sets were spectacular although I found the animal evocations a little confusing at times. Star of the show was Rafiki who sang fantastically. Others who were good were Scar and young Simba. Some of the diction of the others was poor and as a result many of the jokes were missed. The older Simba was even booed at the curtain call but his singing voice was inappropriate and rather weak. The performance really has only 2/3 strong songs but Rafiki made up for those with excellent vocal skills. The tickets are overpriced but the theatre was still almost full on a Tuesday evening.

    Stunning show
The show was outstanding by all means. We booked Royal circle seats row A, was written that it’s restricted view but actually was amazing as we had panoramic view. Got my younger son a booster seat to make the view more clear. Ask one of the staff and they will bring you one. Me and my 2 boys (10 and 15 years old) and loved it, was a bit long but full of excitement. Songs were amazing, costumes and acting were stunning , every single detail was lovely. Not to be missed.

Great show but inconsiderate parents can spoil it.
What a fantastic show. My Partner and I looked at going to see the show many times but just never got around to it. So, we booked the 7.30 pm showing last week and really enjoyed it. The dancing costumes and singing were amazing. I know it's directed at kids, but we were hoping the evening show would have more older children/adults and to be fair the majority were. Unfortunately, we sat in front of a couple that had a toddler that was talking and sometimes yelling ALL through the show. A couple sitting near them must have said something at some point because there were some raised voices in return. I heard the mother say something like 'What do you expect me to do about it'. It's a great show, well worth seeing for sure. I just wish that the evening show had an age restriction on it. It's a lot of money for inconsiderate parents to spoil it.

Outstanding and improvements since I last watched it
Loved it, sat right at the front in the stalls Row A seats 18/19/20, this made us feel part of the show. Such a different experience being at the front. We came 10 years ago and thought it was great then. They have further improved the show with outstanding costumes and stage sets. People who moan about it being tired or boring are just moaners who moan, about everything they do in life. Sit back relax and enjoy the show. Fantastic!!

    Totally worth it
Amazing performance. I took my 2 youngest children who are both autistic and were really nervous. We were noticed as we approached by one of the ushers who spent 45 minutes with us showing us around the theatre and where the quiet spaces were in case we needed them. He gave us a sensory bag with fidget toys, ear defenders and a guide to which sorts of the show might be scary and when they might want to look away to use for the duration of the show. They were so friendly and helpful throughout. The show itself was stunning and the kids lived every minute of it

I’ve heard a lot about this show so my expectations were high and I wasn’t disappointed ! The scenery was amazing and I felt that they had transformed the film well to stage ! I felt that adult Nala had a beautiful voice as did Rafiki ! Not sure the mic was perfect with adult simba as he seemed to get better, amazing show ! Costumes were fantastic

We had a really difficult time deciding which West End show to see. We eventually decided on The Lion King - and boy, are we glad we did! The show itself was mesmerizing and beautiful. The talent did a great job and the singing was stupendous -especially Nala and Mufasa! We sat in stall H in an aisle seat and it was a wonderful spot, not too close to the stage and not too far back where you can’t see all the action.

We paid extra to sit in the Ambassador Lounge (VIP experience) before the show, during intermission, and afterwards. Totally worth it! You can leave your jackets upstairs and order drinks/ snacks without having to wait in the hectic crowd. Plus you have a private bathroom to use throughout the show!

The entire show was just breathtaking and we couldn’t stop talking about it the remainder of our trip! Now we can’t wait to visit London again and see another West End production!

For a person who doesn’t like sitting still too long this show was a title daunting. Once I sat down and the curtain rose I don’t think I moved from beginning to end. The lights, sound, performances were first rate. The music was buoyant and fresh. The intimate atmosphere of the theatre made you part of the performance. This surely must be a must see for any tourist in London.

I got so much more then expected. From the entrance and friendly members of the stuff, to beautifull cast and crew of the musical. We came to London and travel 1500 km just to see the show. And it didn't disapoint. Most of the show we found ourselves so involved like we are there. Cast is wonderfull, they do this every day and still they are acting like it is their first time, with so much passion and facial expresion that they really take you to Afrika. I can't say who was the best in performing...cause everyone of them is wonderfull. So moving. On the last song we all had teary eyes...it really is a show of a lifetime.

I was very excited to see The Lion King after hearing great reviews over the years. But I have to say I was some what disappointed. The opening was great and the costumes/set were amazing. However the singing was poor and substandard, certainly not what you would expect for a west end show. The dancing was messy and lacked quality and synchronisation. I expected to be blown away and unfortunately wasn’t.

I haven't seen the show in well over 10 years and it blew me away as a grown up as much as it did when I saw it at the age of 10. It was fantastic and i can't recommend it enough for any Disney/Lion King fans of all ages.
Just on a side note, be prepared to pay over-odds for snacks and drinks, and also advise on taking toilet breaks just before/after the interval as the queues get quiet long!
