This was my first escape room. I'm registered blind so this escape room was perfect to join in with my friends. We had lots of fun exploring the room and solving the puzzles. They took excellent care of my guide dog.
it is a bit difficult to find the place.

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! We throughly enjoyed our first escape room, so much fun. Searching in the dark for these well hidden eggs. Hannah was very informative and patient, I definitely recommend giving this experience a try.... happy hunting 😀

Never done an escape room in the dark before! It certainly was a unique experience and I've done lots of escape rooms before but it's good to try something different.

Very fun escape room for escape room beginners! You are tasked with finding dragon eggs by completing tasks. The room is pitch black which makes you really need to use your brain and senses and requires good team work to complete the tasks. The hour absolutely flies by!

The room is quite small, so it is definitely more suited to a small team.

Reading the review about the location made me a little weary however the location was easy to get to once we realised where it was. Definitely go off of the pub name and not the postcode. The road did feel a little unsafe, however it is only a short walk from Canning Town station so you don't have to walk too far into the industrial estate.

Once inside the pub, Hannah was very welcoming and more than helpful!

Fantastic idea to start an inclusive escape room (although there is no lift so it is not wheelchair accessible). Would recommend to anyone who wants to do an escape room that is a little different!

This is a very different type of escape room to any I have done before, this is because it is completely in the dark. Therefore you have to rely on your other senses to solve the puzzles as you really cannot see a thing! We enjoyed the room, it was a lot of fun and also challenging. However, I have to warn you about the location (as of Feb 2020) the pop up escape room is located above a pub which is situated in an industrial estate/scrap yard. Although it is approx 15 min walk from Canning Town station, the street where the pub is located is filthy. The area felt very unsafe and I was very cautious about walking down the street. Also, the pub is difficult to find as the building itself looks derelict and I couldn't believe we could possibly be in the right place. Luckily, Hannah who greeted us was friendly and then I felt more at ease. Overall great experience but please consider relocating.

Doing a escape room in the dark is totally a different experience, I do not recommend to see the room after you have done it as you will be disappointed, better to stick with the image your brain creates.
The only bad thing I can say and it is not the business fault it is the location. Although it is in London it is situated in a industrial place with metal scrap yards, very dirty and it does not feel safe walking down the street. My recommendation is to take a uber/cab from Canning Town subway station, it costs 5-6 pounds.

I'm relatively new to escape rooms and suspect this is slightly easier when you are better at puzzle solving than me! But this was a really interesting experience- the puzzles were great and being in the pitch black (it doesn't let up) really made this a very different escape room.
It was so interesting to see the room in the light afterwards!! I totally recommend this.

This was only our second visit to an escape room and we were accompanied by our son who has never had any sight. Being sighted, I was wary of what the escape room would offer. I needn`t have worried. Hannah was really friendly when we arrived and gave a clear explanation of what was involved. Although we were in total darkness we did not feel as though there was any danger. The puzzles were set at a a good level so that beginners and experts in escape rooms would find these challenging enough to be interesting. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this activity to anybody.

The venue is located (as of October 2019) about 10 minutes’ walk from Canning Town Station, its quite easy to find the venue and the entrance door. You are taken upstairs to the room, note there is no lift so it’s not wheelchair accessible.

After the usual health and safety forms to complete, you are asked to lock away phones in the cloakroom and you are also asked to remove any watches, and glasses, watches as they may have lights, and glasses as if you do bump anything and they fall off, you don’t want to lose them on the floor. Your given a storage bag each to wear, and its explained in the prebriefing to put anything you pick up into the bags (locks, eggs, keys and anything else you may want to carry) into so you can find it afterwards. Thoughtfully you are told the keys you will find are on elastic bracelets and you should put them on your wrists as soon as you get them so you don’t drop them. After that it’s through a pair of curtains and into the game itself.

While the game is sold as total darkness you expect that after a while you may start to see shapes form, trust me that is not the case, it really is pitch black. The only light you have is the mysterious looking red circles around the CCTV camera. The game starts with a backstory that you listen to explaining the game itself, your aim is to find and recover six Dragons eggs in an hour, before the evil Wizard returns. There is no way to tell the time, so every 15 minutes the same voice as the backstory (it’s not the GamesMaster as it was a she for our game) gives you a time update.

Without giving any puzzles away we got out with all six eggs in about 45 minutes.

We were fortunate enough to have a little time to talk to the GM afterwards, and got a peek inside the room. Again Without giving anything away its amazing how the game room seems to both grow and shrink in your mind’s eye at different times while you are inside it, but afterwards when we got a glimpse into the room the size didn’t seem to match up with what we thought it was.

For any one worried about such a dark room, don’t be. Anywhere where there is a hard edge (table, door frame, shelves etc) , all have a foam cover. If you were to run and hit something it may hurt, but the fact you can’t see means you move around slowly and cautiously around. There are no sudden jump scares to frighten you only your imagination

Overall we really enjoyed it, we’ve played a lot of escape rooms, and none of the puzzles were hugely different from what we have experienced before, but the fact you are missing your vision means everything is different, and it made us think more about what we had.

What a fun room! Taking place in complete darkness, your task is to find 6 dragon eggs. We found it a tad easier puzzle-wise than some escape rooms we've done, but we were a small group of 3 which I think worked in our favour in this format. If there are more of you talking and feeling about, that would add to the chaos! Very interesting to experience how you gradually adjust to the darkness - the way they help you with bags and the instructions to help you navigate the space are very good. I'm not visually impaired but I can imagine this would work excellently for those who are. Great fun, and the lady running the session was lovely!
