Notting Hill is nice area, with lots of suburban like houses. It is close to just about everything. The hotels and pubs there are very nice. And of course I was thinking about Hugh Grant the whole time!

a beautiful neighborhood that will forever be remembered because of the movie. saturdays and sundays are great to hangout in the marklet area. every last weekend of August - Notting Hill carnival - the biggest carnival in the world outside Brazil - highly recomended.
