If you are going to spend a few days in London, make sure you get the London Pass. It makes all of these sites very affordable. As a history teacher, I tried to hit up all aspects of London's past, and the Tower of London...More

This was a last minute decision but i am happy we did this. The tours within the castle are great and have knowledgeable guides with usful information. The guides are all dressed in character which really takes you back to the time the tower would...More

Cool area down by river cruises. River cruises gave us a great perspective and we also cruises to Greenwich and that was awesome. Staff on each boat gave us insight to buildings, stories and local history and they were not even official tour guides. Close...More

Fabulous day here. Long queues in the morning but if you go a bit later you can go straight in. Plenty to see and do a wonderful window into the past.

I made the trip out to the tower of London by taking the tube. Is cheap, about 12 pounds and it gets you very close to the site. You will also see some very old walls, built during Roman times on your way to the...More

I'm a huge history nerd, especially the Tudor/Stuart period, so I've wanted to visit the Tower for a long time. Overall, I was very impressed. I actually joined the Historic Royal Palaces, which comes out cheaper if you plan to visit all five sites. We...More

We visit the Tower every time we are in London. I love to immerse myself in the history of “place.” Make sure and plan your visit for first thing in the morning, and visit the Crown Jewels first to avoid lines.

Such a fantastic place to spend a few hours. The castle is in pristine condition. There are so many different things to view you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to look for the Ravens. They are gorgeous and trained.
