This modern column decorates Trafalgar square and pays tribute to Horatio Nelson. While the column itself is mostly interesting to history buffs, there's no reason whatsoever why not to enjoying during a visit to Trafalgar square.

The portrait museum in the square is definitely worht a visit though so whilst there take a look inside free of charge.

Close to Parliament, the Thames, Westminster, Buckingham Palace and Soho, this is a great central meeting spot that is really easy to find and get to. The tube is the best option but it is easy to walk from any of these locations above also....More

Just a column,with nothing spectacular.True,placed in a nice square of London,Trafalgar square.Nothing special at it:a column,not extremely high,with a statue of Nelson admiral on the top,surrounded by some lions statues and beautiful fountains.But that's all.In max 10 minutes you see it all.

As a tourist coming to London, It is worth a visit to Nelson's column and the surrounding area, Just relax by the water feature and gaze up at Nelson towering above.
