Being penniless and underemployed we saw La Bohème from the cheap seats. Great overall entertainment for the price. We stood in the amphitheatre. Limited view, but a fantastic aural experience. The only detracting element of the night was the distinctly fishy odour in the main...More

Second time to the ROH and what a fabulous experience. Had ticket up in the upper amphitheatre but great views. Staging was really great and I would encourage anyone to just go and see any opera here. It is done to such a high standard...More

Truly amazing experience. Of course it's not cheap at £187 per seat in the stalls and £138 for lunch (including 2 glasses of Champagne) but sometimes you just have to do these things. The sets at ROH are so realistic, the shopping arcades, cafe and...More

Dinner at the Balconies Restaurant was superb. First rate service (it's great that you can make a request of anyone passing by and know it will be attended to promptly), delicious food, a decent (if rather pricey) wine list, and a lovely environment. OK, so...More

I expected it to be boring and loud, however I couldn't have been further from the truth! It was so entertaining, funny and a truly incredible experience. Although the ampitheatre was steep and I couldn't have watched it without subtitles, it was brilliant!

I sat stalls circle right A90 for Carmen and although not central, it was an excellent, clear view. Got fantastic advice from the box office, so I recommend booking through them for expert help. Enjoy!
