I went to a meeting in Leister Square in May. We didn't get the tube, so we decided to walk. We walked through Horseguards Parade and then along the Embankment. What a fab walk that was too.

South Bank offers great tourist-y attractions such as SHREK, the London Eye and the Aquarium, so if that is your thing...head there. You get great views of Big Ben. There are some fun street performers, a small live theater, ice cream and a carousel. Lots...More

We took a boat ridge along the South Bank with our Oyster Card. It is part of their bus system. It was a great way to see some sights...riding along the river and getting a different point of view! Would recommend at least once! Easy...More

Gets extremely crowded on a sunny day. Lots to do but also lots of queuing is inevitable. Noisy and not the place to go if you want a quiet rest from sightseeing!

cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly
activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized
river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo
Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and
