Having got up at 5.30am to get to London, we hadn't eaten breakfast before leaving and by 9.30am we really fancied a cooked breakfast. We found ourselves by Debenhams and they were just opening their doors on a Saturday. In we went and firstly used the toilets which were very good and clean. Next we found a cafe where breakfast... Depnhams is very nice place to visit when you are in Oxford street, you can enjoy shopping there, for yourself or family or children, there is always offers and discounts, when you get tired you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea there or you maybe want to get a light meal, there's a lot of choices. Don't miss... More

In June I ordered 3 dresses, two of them didn't fit properly. I decided to take them back to the Sutton branch. I had both my receipts, the assistant refunded me and I then rushed off to work. When I was filing my receipts I realised I had been refunded for the wrong dress. I emailed their head office who... More

Bought a sweater online. Started developing holes after just a few times worn. Disastrous experience with their telephone Customer Services people , but eventually got them to agree that I could send it back for review. Warehouse sent it right back saying that it wasn't faulty ( presumably they are trained not to see holes) and it was beyond their... More

segmented. Trying to find anything in this place is a bit of a joke. Can get rough locations but need to look for everything. Not as bad as sefridge which is a high end joke. Go .... they have a varied selection as expected from Debenhams. Has more than the one in lakeside it seems and a less hectic but... More

The perfect alternative for those of us who can't afford to shop at Selfridges. There's a good variety of quality affordable and also trendy clothing and lots of different brands. They also have a big shoe department with lots of popular brands. They have a restaurant on the top floor, a café on the second floor and a patisserie Valerie... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
