We took the waterbus from here along the canal, I would like to say there were nice views but most of the barge boats were in quite a poor state and the canal was filthy with lots of rubbish floating about, the houses at the side were gorgeous. The waterbus and staff were very friendly though and worth the trip... More

...but it's still pretty lovely! There is a festival called 'Canalway Cavalcade' on the May Bank Holiday which is fun to go to as lots of boats go past, varied food to try, plenty of stalls to check out and everything's decorated with lights and streamers. Nice area when it's not a festival too.

Walked from Paddington to Camden lock along the canal past little Venice. Does not live up to its name. Nice enough but I wouldn't rush back. The walk itself was ok, quirky and interesting but a little disappointing.

So I was there in August, and it is really a nice and quiet place for a walk, but I would say that it isn't a must-see kind of place. Also it was hard to find a decent restaurant near by, so make sure you go there after you've had your lunch :)

Our hotel was on the Mayfair side of Hyde Park, by the Marble Arch. This occupied our morning. Maybe a mile walk to this quaint area with beautiful homes & a nice canal path with quirky houseboats. There are coffee places, a pub & a little ping pong area set up. Self guided.

Visited for the afternoon to this part of London that we haven't ever been to before. We were pleasantly surprised, lovely walks along the towpath and fascinating looking at all the canal boats. We used Warwick Avenue tube station as our starting point. Will definitely return in the summer.

I cant say if you never visit Venice you may worth to visit,as there is not same as venice ,also dont expect much to see as only one small canal, five minutes is enough,so if you dont have time not worth to go there.

Of course it has nothing to do with Venice but it's a lovely place and if you want to go far from the madding crowd while you're in London ...you can come here.

Walked from here to camden lock along the towpath (except the closed bits). Very tranquil and the boats look beautiful. It was throwing it down with rain but it was a lovely walk. Took about 40 min (with many photo stops)

Nice little walk here with my husband. Very relaxing and great escape from London rush. I have to stroll here more often this year
