A nice spot to sit and people watch during a stay in London. Busy, but clean and tidy - no dog fowling.

Was able to take morning jogs around Russell Square and the neighborhood. Very safe. Not much traffic. Saw a fox (animal) walking around at night.

It's really not an oasis in the true meaning of the word, but it is a small lovely park in a busy part of London. There is a fountain playing, many benches for a time-out and a variety of mature shade trees. The entire scene...More

It's very close to the hotel I stayed and a very nice place to relax and reflect after a busy day in a very busy city. People watching is also fun.

Just a block from the Russell Square underground station this is a green space in the city. I am sure it would be more inviting in the summer with its benches to sit on and enjoy the view. Here in December it is very drab.

Found this by accident whilst trying to kill time near Euston. What a lovely place - nice tea and ice cream, lovely staff, and so nice to be able to sit out in the fresh air.

I enjoyed Russell Square as a green reprieve from the city. It's not a huge space, but still quite large. A nice place to be calm, people watch, and enjoy the outdoors!

Space to decompress, to read, to people watch. To enjoy the sight and sound of the fountain. A lovely square in Bloomsbury between Tavistock and Bloomsbury squares.

Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and
leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance
access to many of London's most popular attractions.
It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated
museums, including the must-see British Museum.
Despite an understandable popularity with students,

We were there July 22 and it was running fine! And the parents of the cute little girl (maybe 2 yrs) let us take a picture of her going 'round and 'round the fountain on her tiny scooter.
