My wife is a huge Beatles fan, so this had to be done. But it is a long way to go for this picture. It's out of the way and actually quite ugly from all of the spray painted graffiti.

Of course you would check it out due to Beatles connection but really the area isn't great and you can see everything in 3 seconds.

Cannot see the point of coming to Abbey Rd, as there is really nothing to see apart from a zebra crossing, and graffiti written on the walls of the studio building plus a lot of tourists standing around taking pictures of people crossing the road!!!!

Nothing very significant here, but a lot of fun walking in the Beatles' footsteps. The best photo op is from the roundabout. Be patient and eventually your group can get a window to walk across the famous crosswalk. Near the St. John's Wood tube station - there is a tiny Beatles store there.

I appreciate the Beatles but am not a fanatic. However this was still cool to see. I am not so sure that the locals appreciate tourists taking pictures though. We were honked at, and told we were at the wrong place...when I am pretty sure we were not. Anyways it was fun. Go there if you have time!

If you're a Beatles fan, go there. It's a fun, free thing to do. Just be courteous and don't stand in the crosswalk for too long or you'll cause a traffic jam.

It was so much fun to actually be on Abbey Road. Doesn't take long, but it is worth the visit for any Beatles fan.

Abbey Road was a favorite. In a beautiful part of London, exit St. Johns Wood from the Tube. It's easy to get to and not terribly crowded. There is a Beatles shop around the corner with vintage records and such. It's a must see, especially if you are a Beatles fan!! Cheers :)
