Top ways to experience Greenwich Market
The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.

Laura Lees Morgan jewellery is incredible
We stumbled across Laura Lees Morgan whilst we were wandering around the market. We are so glad we did! My partner had been looking for a ring for me for a while but could never find something that fitted us. Well, Laura certainly helped us! She sized the ring that I fell in love with there and then and even let us stamp our own initials in it 😊 absolutely over the moon.

    Great market
So many great stalls with local products. There were a lot of food options as well. There is a second entrance to the market and that is truly a flea market. Use the entrance closer to the main street for the good stuff.

    Great market
We visited this market whilst being in Greenwich for the day. We have been here many times before and always have a nice time. It’s a very great market with lots of things to buy and shops either side of it. There is a big food part to it now as you walk in. It’s not cheap, but you are in London and it’s what you expect. Will be going back again.

    Laura Lees Morgan
We wandered into the market and found Laura’s stall quite quickly. I was there to browse but Laura started chatting to us in an infectious, uplifting way and I ended up buying a ring she personalised for me. I LOVE IT!! She was so helpful, wonderfully friendly and has some beautiful pieces. Thank you Laura

    A lovely place to visit
We travelled to Greenwich on a river cruise from Westminster Pier. The market is lively with a number of street food stalls, stalls selling a variety of goods, many handmade, and a couple of pubs. The younger, fitter, member ¡s of our party made the trip up the hill to the Observatory whilst the older ones found a comfortable seat outside one of the pubs to enjoy a wine or beer

    Must Visit
The Greenwich Market was the highlight of our trip to Greenwich. Walk here from the ferry or take a bus from the cable cars, or other options. Here you will find delicious food and retail vendors. Definitely stop at the fudge restaurant!

A smaller version of Covent Garden market…A great and worthwhile trip
What do you get if you take a five minute walk away from the Pier.Greenwich Market. It’s a great little market all under a glass roof surrounded by 2 pubs and shops selling a variety of things from Fudge,Spices,Joss sticks to Artwork, shoes clothing. think a smaller version of Covent Garden. The stalls themselves are great and all the stall holders love to tell you about their passion for each of their skills and wares. The little pancake horsebox was a great cheeky little treat. We loved it. A fantastic day out

Permanent jewelry, cool art, great food!
Great market! Go! Do it! You won’t regret it! Some musts: Permanent jewelry with Laura Lees Morgan. Laura is a wonderful human who loves what she does. If you are looking for beautiful, high quality, affordable permanent jewelry - this is the spot! Laura is supremely kind and good at her craft. She did an amazing job on our bracelets as well as fixing another piece of permanent jewelry I already had (from another shop) free of charge. Please go see her! Adam Doughty art - not only does Adam make beautiful cool art, he is incredibly kind and delightful to talk with! If I wasn’t traveling, I would have bought a lot more! His art is vibrant, sincere and enchanting. If you want something to hang in your house that everyone will compliment and pibe for, grab some Adam Doughty art! Addis Taste Ethiopian vegan food - if you like delicious food, go to Addis! Bonus, it’s vegan!! I got the combo meal with a little bit of everything and I honestly could have eaten whole plates of every single side. So good! Highly recommend!

Nice indoor market, good to have a look around.
Had luch at the end of the market in the pub, which was very nice and a resonable price. Admiral Hardy, my wife had the Kiev and I had the Cottage Pie. Saw the market so had a look around. Quite a few shops interested my wife and lots of jewellery stalls. It seemed very laid back with a nice atmosphere and very helpful stall holders. Lots of fast food alternatives, and maybe we will try them next time. Recommend.

Nice market with lovely little shops and good street food. We had a great time at the pub admiral hardy located in the corner of the market. A good choice for a Saturday day out.

Dispute a smattering of tat here and there, There are some true gems in Greenwich market, from the wonderful craft stalls offering handmade jewellery, original artwork, fashion, woodwork, pottery etc . There’s also plenty of hot and cold food to choose from and the best coffee in London!

Want something actually original?

Laura Lees Morgan jewellery is different in a good way. Quirky, wearable and instantly iconic.

Great quality and amazingly affordable

Besides the fact that I absolutely adore Laura and I just met her today, I love her jewellery! She was so friendly, sweet and kind.
All her jewellery is hand made, hence each piece is unique.
I’ve got a beautiful bracelet permanently welded on my wrist today.
I’m absolutely thrilled about it.
Laura thank you very much for everything.

An all-weather, undercover market. Not many stalls at all. If you’re there, walk through, but don’t go out of your way to visit this market.

One of my favourite markets in London, it's much more homely and local compared with the likes of Borough Market. They sell different types of food as well as clothes, jewellery, antiques, cards and general random gifts, etc. It's lovely to wonder around. Thoroughly recommend.

I love Greenwich Market, there is so much to see and do. I decided to treat myself to a lasting memory of my visit with a welded bracelet from Laura Lees Morgan. I had a real laugh sitting with Laura while she completed my bracelet and love the final result so much. I highly recommend Laura for her meticulous craft and lovely energy 💛
