The tour as a whole was so amazing, very intriguing. It was all very very eerie and creepy, but so incredible going to the places where the murders happened. Definitely worth going.

I had wanted to do this tour for ages and with a friend from the US visiting, it was the perfect opportunity. There are several companies to choose from and I am glad we went with this one, as it was great. I think we were lucky as we had a group of about 10, the guide was easy to... More

I went on the Jack the Ripper tour with my dad when we went out for a day trip to London. As someone studying the history of Victorian crime at university, I was very enthusiastic about this tour. Our guide Jonny was incredibly informative and showed a clear passion for the topic, which made the tour all the more enjoyable.... More

I was a little worried at the beginning of this due to the amount of people! There was probably about 50 on this tour alone! And we passed many many other groups also doing Jack the Ripper tours, so that shows you how popular these attractions are. However, I had no need to be worried. The guide was great! He... More

This was both an interesting and informative activity. Lizzie, our guide walked us through the streets and brought the story to life. The additional visuals she used were excellent. Easily booked online as well as finding the meeting spot at Aldgate East station. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

Spent the evening on this tour. The guide, Jonny, was a character, knowledgeable and even dressed the part. Explained the theories well and the pictures shown through the Ripper vision added to the tour. If you have an hour or so spare when in London it is well worth the money.

Me and my cousin had a great time on this tour. It's something a bit different to do in London and was definitely worth the money. The tour guide (johnny I think) dressed up and put on accents during the tour, which made it engaging and fun. The group was pretty big (at least 25ppl) on a Monday night, but... More

A group of 8 of us booked for a private tour with Jamie. It wasn't great weather but the rain held off, thank God. We weren't quite sure where we were to meet initially, but then realised it was the main entrance of the Whitechapel Art Gallery. Jamie was all set and off we went to the first location. We... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
