Ok, this tour is awesome. Mark was such a fun and knowledgeable tour guide. I was flying solo for this tour and would highly recommend this experience. Was absolutely freezing outside so a 3-4 hr warm coach ride with awesome music, stories about my favorite musicians, and tidbits about the city was the best choice. Got to see a LOT and got my Abbey Road photo. Go for it!

Totally awesome. Our tour guide, Colin, was extraordinarily knowledgeable. He has probably forgotten more about the music scene in London than most will EVER know. If you’re into music, this tour is worth three times what they charge!

We enjoyed our afternoon tour with Ian despite the rainy weather. We were able to hear about a great variety of Rock Legends and see places where they lived, worked and played from the comfort of the 16-passenger van. We did make a few stops along the way ... most notably Abbey Raod. Many thanks for a fun afternoon tour.

The guide, Ian, is so familiar with the city and the history of music that we felt we learned a lot on the tour. Best of all, we told him our favourite musicians and he did his best to include at least a mention of them and their time in London or England. Very happy to have explored areas that are not in tourist guides, such as the little shop near Abbey Road Studios.

The tour guide was awesome! Very informative! The best part was of course, Abbey Road. We were very fortunate to have great weather and our guide was able to take some fun pictures of us walking across the street 😊

Our tour guide Jim was great. So many wonderful stories that I never knew and found fascinating. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in the history of rock music in London!

Like a rock concert, the tour was about the time, the place, the atmosphere. It was more than just seeing a building ... it was learning about history, culture, relationships, and collaborations ... along with getting a grand tour of the different neighborhoods and districts of London.

What your during the winter season is best for Queen fanatics. We obviously love all classic rock legends but prominently Queen! Any suggestions?

London Rock Music History tours covers a lot of Queen and we were fortunate that our guide that day last month was Lee, who has keen insight and personal relevance to Queen. Lee asks the guests what they are most interested in seeing then tailors route around that and sure you will get your fill (and much more!) with going this route!
How much is a typical customizable tour and what is the minimum number of people you can have?

We did the Viator half-day tour. Was a nice break from walking about London and saw lots. Depending on what you are looking for, fully customized would allow you to make sure you see exactly what you want and if it's in your budget would be your call. If budget is an issue, I would say the Viator tour is worth it.

I definitely want to do this, but I can't decide whether to do the full day tour, or one of the half day tours plus the Handel/Hendrix museum (I love classical music too!). And if I do a half-day tour, would the morning or afternoon rock tour be better? I'd appreciate input on this. Thank you!
