We organised this as a corporate event combined with dinner at the end of the evening and tour. The tour was really great - the whole group massively enjoyed it - it was really interesting to walk around a historical part of London and its quirky pubs and learn about the history over a pint. The tour guide, Morrris, did an excellent job - he is clearly very passionate about the content of the tour and made it fun, interesting and witty! Would highly recommend to any group of friends or colleagues for a great evening in London. Alex

We loved the Covent Garden Tavern Trail tour.
Greig has an amazing wealth of knowledge about London and its pubs!
We started at Cleopatra's needle, learned a little about Victoria's embankment & enjoyed our first pub nearby. Greig has a fabulous way of blending the history of London with that of each pub and area that we visited. We felt like locals as Greig guided us through our beer selections. Conversation was easy and continued to be informative as we enjoyed each pub.
My son & I highly recommend that you book Greig's pub tour!

This was our second tour with LTT and it was just as great as the first! We are excited about taking the 2 remaining tours on our next visits to London. We love the mix of history, humor, walking and drinking - what could be wrong with that!?!? See you next time!

Had a great experience getting to know the history of London pubs. Definitely recommend this for those interested in learning a little bit more about London’s history. Morris and John were very knowledgeable and made the whole experience very welcoming and fun!

Highly recommend! Had a great time with John and Morris, who are both great to talk too and very knowledgeable! It was really fun exploring parts of a London and leading about its rich history through the pubs and taverns that have been around for centuries.

This was an enjoyable and educational tour provided by a very knowledgeable person in John Edwards, who clearly takes passion and pride in wealth of history behind these pubs.
You could well have visited these pubs not knowing it's routes and steep history; I had worked in and around Holborn for number of years and did not appreciate its rich heritage until this tour! The pubs are true icons in these places and helps you to understand a lot about the culture and London heritage.
Fact that we were having a drink in a pub that dates back to hundreds of years with a lot of original features still in tact as pointed out by John was a real delight to witness.
As with with a small group, it was intimate which was great also. I Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience where you get to enjoy a few pints (or more) and also learn about the fantastic history of these London pubs as well as some traditions of old which thankfully are not practiced anymore!

We are a group of friends & collegues and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was a fantastic combination of seeing London history and tradition in the city center, and very nice beers in beautiful old and antique pubs. All accompanied by the historic narratives and anecdotes from our fantastic and friendly host John. Highly recommendable.

Which is the best London Tavern Trails tour out of the four for a first time traveler in the UK?

Probably the Fleet Street tour, as it includes the oldest pub in London plus the pub with the oldest interior in London, plus loads of local London history, plus excellent variety of real ales.
