Not worth the money that was spent on the voucher

I arrived early to use the gym area. It was small, very basic equipment. Then I got ready for the treatment. The lockers didn't work. There was rubbish left from the previous guests that was never cleared in the two hours I was there. The hamman was nice but self administered which for 90 pound for a half hour massage... More

Even after reading some of the bad reviews, I decided to give this spa a try. I'm a spa lover and I've visited many spas around the world so I feel I can compare and contrast this experience. The hotel itself seemed like a bit of a ghost town (although it was Halloween). I didn't see anyone except the concierge... More

We booked for the Zen Hen treatment and it was a spectacular day! The spa was booked for the party from 11AM until 4PM. The staff Chantelle and Charlotte were extremely friendly and professional, making us feel extremely comfortable. The treatments were all excellent. The whole day felt very special and the Hen loved it! Really recommend this intimate spa... More

I really don't understand the bad reviews, I read them before going and was a bit nevous, I got a gift voucher for a birthday and booked the seasonal sparkle package, when I arrived the staff in reception were so friendly and helpful they offered me refreshments because I was early for my treatment. When I went down to the... More

I went for my "Princess for a Day" treat from my husband for my 40th two days ago , and have come onto Trip Advisor to leave a great review. I'm surprised by the bad reviews that I've only read now lol. My experience was great. I had a Hammam and found it really hot but my therapist Chantelle (not... More

My partner got me a spa day as part of a Christmas present. Got there, spa was empty. I was the only one there which was good, I thought. The place was nice and relaxing. The let down was the massage. The masseur was clearly disinterested. She gave me the impression that its a voucher customer, its already been paid... More

After finding the Le Kalon Spa listed as one of the best spas in London (Times on line) I decided to treat my boyfriend to a treatment as well as indulging myself as well. From the outset things went terribly - we were left waiting in the reception area of the hotel as we were a bit early for our... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
