Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good quality dim sum, milk and egg option outstanding as the egg substitutes custard. Tofu flavour very well balanced. Slightly underwhelmed by the seafood braised udon as the udon had a bland and unpleasant taste. Seafood flavour in their food really packs a punch, which is good for people who like bold flavoured food.

Loon Fung Supermarket is a relatively large market that carries oriental foods and products including fresh meat, fish and produce and cooking supplies, In the meat section, beef and pork are available for you to select cuts, pieces and organs that usually are not available in typical Western markets. There are also four other Loon Fung locations around London.

Not disappointed at all, the spicy beef, the prawns were very good.

Had a lovely meal early afternoon today. Place was packed with happy diners. Got us seated efficiently. Loved the Chinese tea - fresh and aromatic not bitter like some. Had a set meal as we were tired and took away having to choose. Were very pleased with it. Restaurant was done up for Chinese New Year with lovely red and gold decorations.

We chose a set menu for 3 the only good dish was the crispy duck with pancakes everything else was either sitting in a puddle of grease or had hot chilli added. We asked that the lemon chicken had separate sauce but the chicken was very dry and looked like cheap frozen chicken nuggets. I was very disappointed as I have eaten here many times with my husband and had lovely food ! Could this be because my husband is Chinese. I won't be back.

This small supermarket caters for the needs of local Chinese people and more. Presumably it serves restaurants and other businesses.

Originally, service, although minimal, is quite friendly.

The location and access are not the most convenient, although a large car park is on offer.

You can find in there, as well as the goods you would expect, a few oddities such as pigs' ears and a few other 'graphical' items. I remember Bismarck (who, although a great man, did not fully qualify as a Chinese philosopher) who advised, in substance, not to ask what is in contained sausages but to enjoy them. After going over a few prejudices, one can enjoy the variety of Chinese and a few other food items, and the moderate prices.

The eponymous restaurant upstairs, presumably supplied there, deserves another review.

Went there (again) to look out for curiousities, found a couple of new things and ended up buying lots of red chili and some Oolong tea drinks :)
If you are into Asian food you can find everything here, and even just going through looking at for Europeans strange foods is fun! Staff is professional and friendly, would come again!!
Went there on Chinese new year's parade, so it was very crowded, which was definitely a good sign!

In the heart of Gerrard Street, that itself is in the heart of Chinatown this would be of potential interest either to shoppers looking for all manner of Chinese food items or for visitors who like to see what to them might be of unusual interest.

The place is (not quite) crammed with shelves piled high along narrow aisles but it can feel that way if there are more than a few people there to pass. If it was busy...well?

From fruit and vegetables, including faimiliar Oriental items, one finds teas, dried foods and spices, noodles, dessert items, fresh meat, frozen items etc. Of course there are candies too including Mooncakes.

Not a high-end experience
