We went to the opening night for Chinese Lantern Festival in Jan 2017. It was not the entrance we thought it would be so check before you go. It was a freezing evening so luckily we all had overcoats on. Around 50 huge chinese lanterns sit brightly around the grounds and they look visually stunning at night all lit up.... More

We enjoyed our visit to Chiswick House. The rooms open are interesting and well furnished. The café had a great soup for lunch! However if you have limited time in London it is a combination of tube and bus rides out of the center. We combined it with a visit to Strawberry Hill House for a fun day out.

Visited with friends on a sunny October afternoon. Had a lovely walk around the house & local grounds, and finished the visit off with tea and fresh baked scones.

We spent a few hours here on an sunshiny October afternoon (we timed our visit to really nice weather). This was one of my favourite places in London, I would definitely return here if I visit again.

Going round the House has been on the to-do list for a little while. Finally got to do it back in September. Really enjoyable visit, though I think it needs updating a bit. The films at the beginning are very lengthy (and content would be much better simplified or put on information boards). While Toilets, etc. seem to be temporary.... More

Unfortunately it's now become a dog Park which means dog poo on ur feet and yes when sat down for a latte... Some dogs are not on a lead....this has become more frequent and it's a matter of time before a dog bites... Not worth a visit... Its very average... Due to location and size, unfortunately it's overcrowded and the... More

Beautiful surroundings and well kept Park/garden. A lively pond with Herons, ducks, fish. Serene place to explore with woodland, waterfalls and bridges. Lots of happy dogs bounding across the grounds.

I ended up visiting Chiswick House and gardens a few days ago with a friend of mine - and although, I'd previously been many years ago, it was such a lovely day out and well worth returning back to this beautiful location. Lucky for us, we had the weather on our side - it was warm and sunny throughout the... More

A calm place to spend your evenings. Amazing place for photography and evening walks. Pet friendly, a nice cafe too.
