You can't beat a day at the Houses of Parliament. The history, the scale, the grandeur. It is worth queuing for. Even better, contact your local MP and arrange a guided tour.

The guided tour is very good. The tour take about 1.5 hour, and you get much more then just listening for the audio automatic guide.
