Nice for London
Oct 2021 • Couples
It’s a bit grotty here really but decent for London. I live more in the country so im used to nice open spaces & county. If you are from the city you’ll find it great but To me it reminded me if one of the council fields where I live. But it it great if you live in London for walking your dog.

Cools Views Over London
Sep 2020
Walking up to Hampstead Heath gives you some epic views over London and its completely FREE!. I would visit the heath early morning or later in the evening as it does get a little crowds specially on weekly with people run-in and walking their dogs.

Our caravan bedroom is bigger

Parking at hotel is open to public told by a member of staff so very difficult to get a place
Room the smallest I have ever stayed in
Bathroom
smelt could of been coming from a vent to cupboard next door to room not pleasant which was in bathroom
Dusty carpets in room and corridors
Air conditioning did not work hot and very little ventilation we know you have to shut windows to work air conditioning we have stayed in many premier inns very little sleep as so hot and noisy with windows open. We had encouraged friends to stay over night in another room obviously but they had the sam experience felt awful as we had recommended premier. Breakfast: nice staff cold breakfast first inn we have stayed at where staff were not on ball with replacement cooked items asked for beans waiting for delivery told did appear later scrambled egg dry and cold to match the rest of cooked items did see hot scrambled egg being put out after we had eaten . Come on premier I can honestly say I would not recommend this hotel. The first time ever

Great but maps/directions inside would be helpful
Aug 2021
This was my first visit to the Heath and it was very enjoyable. Great scenery. The only criticism I have is the lack of maps and directions inside. I tried to get to Kenwood House and got very lost. Great for walking and fresh air. Picnic by the lakes, superb.

A lovely day out!
Sep 2020
It's a wonderful park with breathtaking views. The art gallery in the Park's northern area is fantastic. The area is full of interesting places to visit, so exploring it is definitely worthwhile. Several acres of open space adorn Hampsted Heath. A range of animals such as donkeys, deers, and other animals can be seen, which will entertain the children. There are many interesting things to see and a perfect place to picnic.

Parliament Chill
Jul 2021
At the southern entrance to Hampstead Heath (next door to the Overground station), towering trees and verdant nature contrast with the grey concrete of South End Road. My girlfriend and I followed a pathway - more like a green corridor – that was shady underneath the leafy canopy above. We ambled past two serene ponds, overlooked by smart townhouses and, deeper in, passed the mixed bathing pond, where there was a party atmosphere: music bumping through speakers and youngsters dancing, drinking beer and splashing in the water. We climbed a lush green slope, even thicker with foliage now, until we reached the summit of Parliament Hill. We threw down a blanket on a prime spot of grass, ate sandwiches, sipped cool drinks and chilled out while enjoying the magnificent view of the London skyline: Canary Wharf, the Gherkin, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Shard, BT Tower and much more. As we basked in brilliant July sunshine, more music mingled in the air - Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smiths, Afrobeats, house - and occasional wisps of sweet-smelling weed smoke caught my nostrils. The mood was light and happy as we eavesdropped on the chatter of English, Portuguese, German and Spanish speakers around us and I recorded this moment in my mind as one of the good times.

Amazing!
Jul 2021 • Friends
Came here recently with friends for the first time. Beautiful park to go on long walks for! Getting lost in the greenery away from the busy city was great fun. You can also get an amazing view of Central London from the top. Highly recommend, will return soon!

Escape from Reality!
Jul 2021
I had heard so much about Hampstead Heath and it surpassed my expectations.
Absolutely beautiful, so many different trees and nature at its finest.
The lake was my favourite area. So peaceful and tranquil.
Lovely to think that the heath is there to be enjoyed freely by everyone.

A lovely non touristy area of London
Jul 2021
We came to London for a few days not to partake in the normal tourist attractions but to discover some of the more out of the ordinary areas.
Armed with a pre printed guide we did a 4-5 mile circular walk of Hampstead Heath. The walk took in all the keys areas of interest including the many ponds, all three outdoor wild swimming pools, the glorious views from Parliament Hill and Kenwood House where we stopped for a brief repose.
It amazed me given the vastness of this area how the walkers and joggers seem to know it like the back of their hand but I guess I would be the same back home in my area of the country.

It is definitely a place to come back to armed with a picnic, a good book to read and time to people watch.

A lovely green space
Jul 2021 • Couples
A fab large green space amongst the bustle of Hampstead. Plenty of paths and tracks across the heath. Swimming available in 3 pools ( male, female, mixed) which were being used, even though it was drizzling. Definitely a place to blow away the cobwebs.
