Opened in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. It is also one of London’s most iconic and visited tourist attractions. Over the years, it has been the scene of over 150,000 performances; from Wagner to Sinatra, The Beatles to Beyonce, Muhammad Ali to Adele, and is home to the celebrated BBC Proms. Whilst the venue is most famous for its shows by night, by day this treasured building is open for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and guided tours of the building. Tip for tour ticket holders: Enjoy a 10% discount on items in the Hall’s gift shop and Cafe Bar.

It's beautiful from the outside but also inside. It really worth a visit. Go there for a concert, theatre, circus or any kind of event. I specially love the Christmas Carrolls. If you want to know a bit more about its history, go for a...More

The staff are really friendly and helpful. We forgot our tickets and we just got them reprinted at door 12 by showing the email confirmation and the payment card. We were struggling to find somewhere to eat but the staff were able to recommend places....More

This is a very attractive classic concert hall in the Kensington area of London, about ten minutes walk from South Kensington tube station. As you arrive, you cannot fail to be impressed by its circular structure. Once inside, the stage layout can vary - there's...More

The Royal Albert Hall is a great concert venue with amazing acoustics. The seating was OK except for the person behind me who kept pushing his knees into my back! Classic FM and Viking Cruises put together a lovely concert which we thoroughly enjoyed.

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
