Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I just went on a 'Gardens in the city' walk, led by Courtney, and having lived in London all my life I felt excited to discover hidden gems that I'd never known about! Courtney is full of fascinating quirky information, it was a really engaging couple of hours and a brilliant way to discover corners of this amazing city that we live in. Thanks!

Patrick did a brilliant tour today showing us ways around london with humour, history, linking to LGTBQ+ facts as well as strong sense link to the past. This is the second walk with Patrick and about 5th with Six in the City company. Highely recommended.

Fabulous walking tour of ‘Secrets in the City’ brought to life by Patrick, our charismatic guide. Thoroughly researched treats and tales of historical inner city London life bringing to light secret pocket gardens, alleyways and courtyards, playhouses, whilst visiting several medieval church spaces ending with St Bart’s. Highly recommended..

The 'Highlights of the City' tour provided an excellent introduction the the City of London. Kelly was so knowledgable and interesting that she has inspired us to return to the City to seek out some of the places she introduced us to and to spend a little longer in the City.

Four of us did a private tour with Caroline on the leather trade in Bermondsey. A fascinating and fun way to learn more about an specific area in London. Caroline was a font of knowledge, fun and inspirational - a great way to spend 90 mins on a Saturday afternoon - I highly recommend this.

Courtney, understood our brief exactly and gave us just what we wanted, a couple of hours at a moderate pace for our mix of ages. Not only did our guests get a look at old and new London but we (locals) were blown away by the hidden gems she showed us around London Bridge. I can highly recommend Six in the City.

Very informative and well-designed tour exploring London's (and Britain's) role in the slave trade, colonialism and abolition. A definite to-do! Thanks Freda

I have been on the annual sculpture exhibition in London in past years on my own but this year was an amazing morning as I went with Courtney from Six in the City and it was so helpful. Courtney is very engaging and so knowledgeable not simply concerning the works on the walk but commenting on the presence of Dickens, Wren, The Romans, development of the city and the 20/21st century buildings etc we passed on our tour. Everyone felt involved and valued: a brilliant morning
I live in London and I plan to go on further trips. London churches is one I fancy for example. Many thanks Six in the city

The Slavery and City Walk, guided by Freda, has to be one of the best ways to get familiar with the history of London. A very inquisitive bunch joined me the day I went on the tour, and I loved the natural exchange of ideas that Freda facilitated. It left me in contemplation about the realities of injustice. Wonderful experience. Would recommend it to anyone interested in history.
