The house is largely kept as it was in the Victorian era and portrays a successful middle class family. Linley Sambourne, the husband, became the chief illustrator for Punch Magazine and therefore was always under a time constraint to reproduce topical drawings for the deadline....More

The house is beautiful. If you are interested in the Victorian era, you can't miss it. The actor giving the tour was really good. It really felt like travelling back in time. I highly recommend it.
