Having read about Bow Street Runners and the formation of the London Metropolitan Police, this was a must for me. Nowadays there are theatres dotted along this area of Covent Garden. Great place to soak up the history

We walked along this road as they were getting ready for the BAFTAs, so it was very busy as lots of the paths had been narrowed. Very strange thinking lots of celebs will be there the next day.
