Booked this for a double celebration husband’s birthday & wedding anniversary, the sun was shining & it felt lovely & warm. The service was outstanding as was the food, we ordered a fillet steak & a lamb shank both were amazing. This restaurant is perfect for a celebration meal & I would highly recommend it. Thank you for a fantastic day.

I was treated for a meal here for my birthday and honestly can’t praise this restaurant enough. The service was being attentive without being intrusive and the atmosphere was soo friendly and welcoming. Thank you ! It was a nice sunny Friday and the whole terrace was full of people having a great time. It was lovely watching everyone having fun during such a weird times. The view over the tower bridge is stunning. Picture perfect. They have heaters on the terrace which is a big plus! I would recommend to try prawns in garlic herb sauce for a starter- delicious! We both really enjoyed our afternoon and will definitely come back soon !

The past few times I’ve been along it has been ok - not mind blowing. It’s such a fantastic location and a bit of an institution for - I always like to give the benefit of the doubt. Today’s food and service were exceptional. Steak tartare, smoked salmon to start, followed by the roast - sirloin for him and pork belly for me. Roasties en pointe, crispy Yorkshire pud, bottomless gravy. Thanks guys - only great teamwork makes a good Sunday Roast. So sorry you are having to close for Lockdown 2. It’s a pleasure to support you and we will do so again when you re open. Amazing location and today the food matched ❤️

The roast beef was OK. Roast potatoes not good, dry and hard so probably frozen. Gravy good. Vegetables good. Yorkshire pudding OK. Service OK. £36 with wine and shared dessert. Location great of course, which is how they get away with it.

After waiting forever to be served the food was lovely but was let down by the wait . It was the first day open after 3 months but by 8pm most of the menu was sold out . Disappointed but gutted as food was lovely
