We had an informal meeting at EAT at One New Change. The centre is really clean with a vast array of shops and restaurants. It's also a stones throw from St Paul's tube station which is extremely handy.

The views from the terrace of One New Change are amazing, in the being the terrace is illuminated with really cool lights. It is free to go to the top and you can see the whole of London. You can have dinner in the restaurant or have a drink. A very nice place to visit be it in summer or... More

The view from the 6th floor of the One New Change shopping centre is fabulous and it is free. You can take the very quick lift directly there and there are some places to sit down there if you want to take in the view of St Paul's cathedral. The shopping centre is nice - it has plenty of restaurants,... More

Take the lift in this shopping mall near St Paul's and get great views over central London for free. At the top there are bars and restaurants, so you can sit and relax and enjoy the views, especially of St Pauls.

Came across this little gem by accident. Up the lift floor 6 and the views are spectacular. We stayed for the afternoon. Drinking wine outside under the heaters. Beautiful.

On our way home one evening, we stopped at the St. Paul station, walked over to the One New Change building, took the elevator up to the roof, and took in the view. It's free. It's beautiful. And you can do it all without changing your schedule (assuming it's on your way).

We had never heard of One New Change and had no plans to visit it, but on a wander round the city we saw dozens of people on the roof with a great view of St Paul's Cathedral. We went exploring and we're delighted to find the shopping centre in question allowed you to go up to the viewing gallery... More

A small but functional shopping area. Has some great shops and varied enough to facilitate what you need

Nice selection of shops and places to eat but the highlight is getting in the lift to the sixth floor and seeing the views of St Paul's and south across the river. There's a bar up there too but also plenty of space if you just want to wonder around or take a seat in the sunshine and soak in... More

I read about the free viewing platform on the upper level and decided to visit as I'm an avid photographer. The views were fantastic altho the day I chose to go was cloudy, it'd look much better in the sunshine I'm sure? The shopping centre below has some nice shops & restaurants but it wasn't the easiest place to find... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
