I have lessons here every week and each time they are amazing. The horses are super friendly and soon enough you will have favourites! The lessons are perfect for both biginners and experianced riders. You should bring a riding hat, riding boots, riding leggings and a t-shirt. You should not wear a hoodie since the sound of the hood tapping on your back while riding might scare the horses. The staff are very friendly and help you out a lot in lessons! You have a 1 hour lesson and it is totally worth it! I really recommend Trent Park!

My four year old absolutely loves the tiny tots sessions over the school holidays. It is a proper lesson after a grooming and care session, not just the walk round many other places offer. Their prices are very competitive but more so their staff are professional and the grounds and horses well looked after. I feel confident that they are looking after my child while she is there which is the most important thing.

I would like to thank you for making my young son discover a true passion for pony riding and infinite love for horses. I took him to pony riding weeks this summer after he had enjoyed a birthday party at your centre and he was so enthused by your lessons he asked me to keep having classes all year round, which is what he’s doing now. I love to see how you teach him not only to walk, trot and canter but you also explain to him how to be assertive as well as caring and respectful with all the horses in the stables. My son’s class teacher, Alasdair, is especially brilliant and supportive, giving every child individual feedback and encouragement. I would definitely recommend you to everyone wishing to give their children a holistic experience of sport, empathy and responsibility. I include here a pic of my young man with the first pony he ever rode, Sam, whom he always goes to greet after his class 😊

What can I say, I learned so much. With 2hours riding and an hour stable management, this course was both rewarding, informative and so enjoyable. As a complete beginner with horse riding, I loved the whole experience. The whole farm is beautiful, set in the gorgeous New Trent Park, the scenery is superb. I highly recommend this place and will be returning soon! It also has a café on site which is great to grab some refreshments.

What an enjoyable lesson this morning on Oscar with Reggie. Reggie was kind and confident with a very nice sense of humour. He was great at sharing his knowledge and didn't try to give me too much info all in one go. He also had a courteous way of correcting my faults and was really kind around the horses who do seem to like him. The horses seem happy and like to put their noses up for a stroke which I was delighted to give! Oscar put up with me with good humour and trotted when asked in the hot weather - what a patient, good natured animal! The Trent Park staff who were a welcoming, no-nonsense lot and kindly answered all the questions that I had. I had a lovely time and will definitely be back.
