I had read great reviews about Wicked but was unimpressed. There were no memorable songs and the storyline seemed weak. We sat in row E in the stalls but felt too close to the stage. It was too loud and we could not hear the words clearly during the songs. It was all a bit 'shouty'. I would imagine children... More

The story and musical are very well done, but the sets are so much more elaborate. Real "theatre", great lighting; just a visual feast. Very Disney, but that's a good thing. TKT's have good seats most sessions, so put this on your show list when visiting London

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
