About Jason's Trip
Jason's Trip is the original Regent's Canal tour and has been operating since 1951. Jason is an authentic 100+ year-old canal boat which was originally used as a cargo-vessel on the canals before being fitted with a diesel engine and converted to passenger-carrying duties. The tour runs between Little Venice and Camden lock. It takes about forty-five minutes. On the trip from Little Venice up to Camden there is a live commentary from our trained guides who will tell you all about the canal's history from 1800 to the present day. There is no commentary on the Camden to Little Venice trips.

Sara was amazing! Such a friendly welcome and very accommodating in this difficult time. The cruise starts in little Venice which is gorgeous and lovely to walk around. The cruise was so relaxing and it was great to hear all of the history behind the particular stretch of canal and the community that live and work on it. We had a nice little Segway via London zoo which was lovely. This is an absolute must and completely unmissable for a visit to London. Ending up in Camden Town was a great end to a fabulous journey. Absolutely loved it!

I booked the trip for myself and my 91 year old parents for their wedding anniversary. The team couldnt have been nicer - they helped my parents (and me and our 2 dogs) to board first, and gave us seats right up front, so no worries about sitting in the 'slipstream' of anyone else - from a Covid point of view. The boat is completely open, perfect on a hot day and in current circumstances. The trip itself is a delight, we've lived in London for nearly 40 years and walked the canal many times, but somehow the gentle pace of being on the water, with the very interesting narration - added a whole new dimension. Thank you team - we had the loveliest afternoon.

Booked online, the boat has reduced capacity due to Covid, we saw the seats being cleaned before we got on and staff were careful to maintain social distancing. We went from Little Venice to Camden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The commentary was really good, with suggestions of what to do during the rest of the day. It was also very interesting to hear someone with such a passion for her subject. We went round camden market and then to Primrose Hill before walking back to Paddington, lovely way to spend the day. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended
