When I took my diploma in wine back in '87 we didn't even have New World Wines on the syllabus, however Cherie our teacher was such a good teacher and I absolutely loved her classes! Thank you My Cherie Amour!

Superb wine class with chill out and very friendly atmosphere but very informative at the same time. The teacher ( sorry, I didn't get your name..) was so passionate, knowledgeable and well- organised with the all information to put in & tasting. I had a chance to attend another branch of the wine school in London and the west one... More

Recently attended an evening wine tasting at The West London Wine School. It was slightly tricky to get there, and hidden away in a basement, but well worth the trip! The class was focused Sparkling wines, champagne and sweet wines. There was a range of spanish, french and even english fizz, to tantalise the taste buds. The session was informative,... More

If you are lucky enough to know this excellent school of wine tasting you are in for a treat. I have been on several occasions, they are informative but equally fun, relaxed events. A special thank you for Cherie for her enthusiasm and passion for the wines! We thoroughly enjoyed and hope to return again soon.

I have been coming to WLWS now for almost a year and it has become almost a weekly habit visiting their tastings. It’s a really fantastic place and I would really recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning about wine at any level. Tastings a very varied and cover a wide spectrum - from entry level to more... More

I go to more tastings at West London Wine than anywhere else in London and here is why: I like wine. Maybe a bit too much. This means, though, that I attend a lot of different tastings in different places so have a pretty good insight into what's out there. At other places I've sat in silence, I've listened to... More

I've been to WLWS many times both for study (WSET 2, WSET 3, French Wine Scholar) and just for an enjoyable evening discovering new wines. All of the instructors on Jimmy's team are excellent - knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging. Whereas some other wine tastings can be stuffy and boring, these are the exact opposite. You won't have to sit through... More

This was the first time the course was run from WLWS. Jimmy excelled as always in running it, providing us with some excellent wines for each region of France. HIs enthusiasm and knowledge is truly remarkable and you cant help coming away with being very enthused by French wines. The knowledge obtained on this very detailed course is very enjoyable... This is my third time of sitting exams with WLWS and each time it's been a really positive experience. Obviously a glass or three of good wine help but Jimmy's enthusiasm is contagious and makes learning easy. A must-do for anyone of any level who's interested in wine.

We loved sessions at the West London Wine School that had been given as a Christmas present. Didn't really know what to expect but we had three tutors over the course of the four weeks, Cherie, Jimmy and Shane, and they were all fantastic. Their knowledge of diverse regions and wines was thorough and they were happy to ask and... More
