A deffinetly must place to go the pure height and design is mesmerising ! Would deffo recommend this to go as it's so beautiful!!!

Easy enough to find off The Mall - you can't miss it. But you can miss the statue of the Duke at the top as the column is so wide! You need to walk away from the base to see the top.

This is a really tall monument - 41.99 metres, with the bronze statue of the Duke at 4.11 metres tall on top of the column. Inside the hollow column is a flight of stairs leading up the viewing platform around the base of the statue....More

This is beside Waterloo place and the steps from the column lead into the Mall and St James's Park. Its a lovely part of London to wander around and take in the scenery. My favourite Wikipedia fact about this column is the entire British army...More

Duke Of York Column is large enough to dwarf the statue on the top of the Duke of York. A smaller structure and we might have got a decent view of him.
