There is an odd section of Hyde Park, that is actually closer to Green Park, that is surrounded by traffic, on three major streets, which encircle it. We spent an afternoon exploring this area, and discovered the New Zealand War Memorial. As we usually stay...More

A strange,rather ugly monument,placed in Hyde Park Corner.No need more than 5 minutes to see it.Close to it is Wellington Arch and a few other war memorials.

A poignant memorial to the NZ fallen. Easy to find from Hyde Park tube, don't just walk past on your way to somewhere else. Stop and reflect.

Near the equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington and the momentous Wellington monument on the "traffic island" between Hyde and Green park you find this extraordinary simplistic Memorial.

Hyde Park Corner underground station has exits that come out into what is essentially a green roundabout. Most people just walk from one exit to one of the various exits to get to Park Lane or wherever, but it is well worth stopping to look...More

Near to the large Australian War Memorial within the Hyde Park cluster, this is a memorial well worth seeking out, Like the Famine memorial in Dublin, it makes you think and reflect.
