I've never seen anything quite like this, a memorial to animals that died in wars, and there have been so many. It's a great idea and animal rights activists will love it. Nice design. Sentimental.

I have always loved animals. I made it a point to find this monument on my 8 day trip to London in early September of 2017. Upon finally coming upon it, as it is quite hidden by overgrown trees, the tears came to my eyes...More

We came across this monument by chance & we are SO glad we did. I got quite emotional whilst admiring the fantastic statues. A MUST SEE!

Just drove by it and I was surprised to see it, but it is a nice tribute to the animals lost in war.

For all animal lovers - one of the greatest memorials standing. They served because they had no choice! My Grandfather's horse in the first wild war was called 'socks' - this is such a fitting tribute to all those animals that stood hoof and paw...More

This 2004 monument rises to the challenge of recognizing and commemorating the countless animals that have served with British armed forces. People who care about animals are bound to be moved by it. On the Park Lane side of Hyde Park, it is a carved...More

After going for a walk near my hotel I came across this memorial just down from Marble Arch. It is a lovely fitting tribute to all those animals used for various war efforts throughout the years against their will. Well worth a visit.

As an animal lover, I made it a point to wander past here and snap a few years photos on my recent trip to London. It really is a touching memorial to all of the animals who have served over the years.

This war memorial is a tribute to the countless animals that have served and died under British military command throughout history. The memorial is located on Park Lane, at the edge of Hyde Park. A moving tribute, one of the two inscription reads, "They had...More

This is a most unusually designed tribute memorial in that it incorporates 2 and 3 dimensional pieces over a large site area, creating a sculpture of breathtaking splendour. It is parallel to Park Lane, towards the Marble Arch end of Hyde Park.

I'm afraid I don't know for certain but I would assume that it would be the same day as Remembrance Sunday in November. I may be totally wrong!; you might like to contact the Irish Terrier Association as I assume they might... More
