It was the start to our Christmas night out and it was huge amounts of fun. The crew were brilliant and as we were in three groups they kept us very well occupied on deck on a chilly January evening, until it was our turn to go below deck. It was well thought out and the boat was everything we hoped it would be. If you have a larger number of groups I would recommend staggering arrival times (there is a pub right opposite) as the last group has to wait a fair while before it's their turn. Would definitely recommend the whole experience.

We have done lots of escape rooms, but this was one of the best! The venue was fun and original, with the mission well themed to suit, and the actors were briliant - they added so much to the experience with their enthusiasm...and rum (yes, rum is included as you solve your puzzle!!). So much so, I was tempted to stay drinking with them instead of saving the sinking ship! We'd had some issues with our date beforehand and Oscar could not have been more friendly and helpful in rearranging it for us. And we got a discount code for their other escape room afterwards, so have already booked up with additional friends - hoping to see Lilly and Oscar there too!

We did Escape from the Golden Hinde as a company event. We had four teams in total and the crew did a great job of keeping us entertained while waiting to start. The puzzles are imaginative, really well planned out and suitably challenging, with the crew on hand to give hints where needed. The actors were all brilliant - so enthusiastic and engaging - and really made this a unique experience. All teams managed to escape! It was enjoyed by novices and escape room veterans alike. Would recommend wearing the safety helmets offered!

We did the escape room with friends, diverse puzzels, tremendous entourage and lovely crew which give the experience an extra dimension. Fun for different types of people with different ages. We had so much fun! Thank you guys, we truly love this escape room! Eileen & Kim.

This was really fun with a great atmosphere. The setting obviously could not be better. The crew were great fun and the puzzles were varied. Just be prepared to spend most of the experience hunched over due to the low ceilings and def wear the offered helmet. I'm 5'1 and bumped my head at least five times!

This is one of the most fun and entertaining hours to be had in London. The setting was amazing, the prate crew outstanding. The puzzles were great family fun and we just managed to escape by the skin of our teeth. The kids had a blast and we raided the ship of its gold coin booty. What a fabulous time! Go and have a blast!

Absolutely incredible experience. We went with friends, their young son and our 5year old. Everyone had a blast. I don't think it was really meant for kids as it is tricky but they loved it anyway! Would definitely recommend.

We are a family of 4. This was the best escape room we’ve done and we have done quite a few. The ‘ghosts’ were in character as soon as you turned up and helped you when you needed it. The puzzles were brilliant. Definitely wear the hard hat they give you as some ceilings are low and you can hit your head! We asked for no shocks as my 11 year old hates them. She & my 14yr old absolutely loved it and were able to do some of the puzzles that I couldn’t! Highly recommend this to anyone. We had a fab time and escaped with 13secs to spare!!

The Golden Hinde was a fantastic experience! It leans more into the experience than it does the puzzles which makes it a great option if you're new to escape rooms or have friends you're trying to get involved. The crew of the Golden Hinde are top notch and go a long way into getting you into the pirating crew.
