I booked the tour wanting to do something slightly different for my partner’s birthday and I can definitely say that it exceeded both of our expectations. With Eddie as our guide we had a brilliant day out. We learnt loads of interesting things about the history of the east end, facts were short and snappy and Eddie’s knowledge and passion for London meant that we didn’t even have time to wonder what was on the menu next. We discovered lots of sights that we would have never thought to look out for and got to try some amazing food that has definitely broadened our culinary horizons! The tour was amazing value, the portions were generous and Eddie was very accommodating, finding me vege options and replacing my beer with wine, we loved it and are recommending it to everyone :)

We organised this Shoreditch tour for 7 people for my birthday and loved every minute of it. Eddie was friendly and attentive to the needs of the group aged between 13 and 57. He also worked with quite a few dietary restrictions and managed to find workarounds at every location. The quantity, quality and variety of food exceeded our expectations. He shared the history of the area through stories and laughter and we were sorry to say goodbye at the end of the tour.

We had a wonderful time exploring Portobello Road. The food stops were authentic and excellent. Eddie was a brilliant guide. He has a wonderful manner and is a great, knowledgeable raconteur. Our son was delayed, resulting in a somewhat later start for Eddie than anticipated, but he dealt with this graciously and still provided the full 3 hour tour. It was a perfect way to share our son's birthday.

Having been unable to proceed with our booking during the current pandemic, we have received a full refund on our booking with the Walk Eat Talk Eat. Eadie has been very helpful and in full communication in what can only be the most trying of times.
I'm very pleased to see that he is continuing to trade and we look forward to being able to participate in a future booking.

Cannot fault this tour. It was clear Eddie had gone out of his way to personalise and make it the best possible experience. Delivered in an interesting, knowledgable, relaxed and friendly manner. We were introduced to places and venues we will definitely be returning to for the exciting and vibrant food that was introduced to us. Absolutely recommend a walk eat talk eat tour. Looking forward to doing another!

We greatly enjoyed our locals love tour in shoreditch/brick lane. The attention to historical details and current artistic scene of the surrounding neighborhoods made the tour about so much more than good food (of which there was plenty). The relationships Eddie has with the local business owners and employees we visited shows the care invested into places visited. Would highly recommend this tour.

We took a tour with Eddie on the summer bank holiday Sunday. We could see how much time he had taken to personalise this tour to everything we loved. And even helped us with a restaurant recommendation for the evening that was fantastic! He made it really special for us and we can’t wait to do another tour with him! Would 100% recommend booking a tour with Eddie if visiting London!

... you discover something new! I came across ‘Walk Eat Talk Eat’ courtesy of Google since we were looking to do a walking tour with a difference. And thanks to Eddie and his incredible knowledge, research and enthusiasm we had the most interesting and delicious time exploring the Notting Hill area. We will definitely be back to discover more soon!

Eddie and Walk, Eat, Talk Eat, were amazing in their care of their customers! We had to suddenly abandon our plans and get home to the US, when the president said "no more planes from Europe" and we couldn't take this tour. Eddie was the BEST. He assured us he would refund our money when he got some governmental supplemental support. He did it! He could have easily said that it wasn't possible. But instead he went out of his way to make sure we got the refund. We can't wait to return to London and take his tour. Then I'll write a review about how great it was! If you're in London now or anytime, take his tours. He cares! And I'm sure they're fabulous food tours!

Eddie was very knowledgeable, engaging and enthusiastic about the area. The variety and quality of the food and drink was excellent, made all the better by the little facts along the way. We went on a rainy day and it was still great fun so don't be put off by the great British weather.

I have Celiac Disease and am allergic to gluten. Is there anyway to enjoy this tour with a gluten free option?

There are different tours. Our East End tour was about 73 GBP per person. But it was amazing and well worth it. Drinks and various meals - you will have difficulties to eat it all. And the guide was super informed and well prepared. Really good tour.
