A friend and I went to Maria’s Christmas Baking class which lasted around 3 hours. The ingredients and equipment (and in fact Maria!) were all very good quality and we had a fun and relaxing time, with amazing baking results. A lovely thing to do 😊

For me, a traditional non-domesticated male, the kitchen has always been a mystery. I joined 5 family members for a birthday baking session with Maria. We baked Madeleines, macaroons and profiteroles. Maria and her assistant had everything superbly organised in a well-appointed and bright kitchen. Maria explained and demonstrated every part of the baking process and to me, as a complete novice, I found her very helpful and patient. Maria panned all the small details that made the half day very enjoyable.

A really enjoyable day baking some tasty cakes. It was all really well planned out so we were always making things without being rushed. The small group of 4 people made it feel very personal. The recipes were also well chosen to be simple so we could do them again, provided good variety and were also very tasty. Maria was also super friendly and made the day lots of fun. She also provided lots of tips and tricks to help us in the banking and when we make them again which was appreciated (rather than just following a recipe).

Had an amazing time. Maria, is warm, friendly and engaging. The experience was fantastic and a fun way to spend a Sunday morning. I have learnt some new baking skills and will be recreating the yummy goodies soon. I'm looking forward to booking more classes with the lovely Maria. Highly recommended!🙂

I recently took my Mum on Maria’s “Bread Baking Extravaganza Class” as a Christmas present. It’s safe to say it was one of the best baking classes we’ve ever done! It was great value for money and we made 5 different types of bread within the 3 hours that the class runs for. Maria was a very good teacher, she took the time to help everyone individually and made us all feel comfortable in her kitchen and with each other. Going as far as to bake some delicious cookies & brownies for our arrival! I would definitely recommend these classes to anyone who was looking to learn baking or as a present to someone! My mum absolutely loved it and has been baking lots of bread since. The focaccia is now a family favourite! Thanks, Maria! P.S. I organise a private group of 4 mothers with their 4 sons as a Christmas present for my 10-year old son who is obsessed with baking. It was absolutely fabulous! Maria is an amazing baker and teacher, we learnt so much and had a lot fun! Maria does everything with so much attention to detail and style from planning the recipes to the denim aprons, to the utensils we use, to the boxes we take our goodies in, the list goes on. She has a very warm personality, which makes the experience so relaxing and enjoyable.

What a super way to spend a morning !! Maria is a fantastic teacher and over the course of 4 hours she showed us how to make the dough, roll out the laminations, make the pastry cream and make three different types of croissants. This is a real hands on course and even me, who is not even at “novice” level was able to make delicious croissants. We will definitely be back to try our hand on one of Maria’s other classes.

What a fabulous experience with Maria in her perfect baker’s kitchen. The class is organized to perfection, the end results (the yummy baked goods) are next level delicious, and it’s a fun time with other bakers from all over the world. Maria herself is down to earth but so knowledgeable about the science of baking. She communicates clearly and effectively which gives us all a feeling of confidence when we go forth. Cannot thank her enough!!!

Baking with Maria in Tuscany was absolutely the best. Maria and her team were top notch and so welcoming. We had many hands on classes for baking and cooking, we also took away so many tips and tricks for future use. Maria and Michael did a great job with the divided groups and were very patient with all the questions for notes!! We had a family group of 11, which made the experience so much more personal. Maria and her team felt like our friends and family by the end of our time at the villa. We are planning on traveling to London or Denmark in the future for more classes.

My first class was given to me by my son as a gift. I really didn't know what to expect as I am really not a baker! But, immediately Maria puts everyone at ease with her relaxed, calm and friendly manner. One wonders how you can get so much done in 3 hours but she is so organized and helpful! She is full of tips, the recipes are wonderful and everything is delicious. I came back to do the macaroon class and I will be back for sure! Thank you, Maria!
