Fantastic insight into how to make pasta with Stefano
This was a top class 5 hour course offering a great insight into pasta making with Stefano. The course was comprehensive and Stefano provided excellent opportunities for everyone to get involved and ask as many questions as possible. We prepared two types of pasta, gnocchi and a chocolate cake for dessert. It was all accompanied by plenty of wine and good fun. Definitely excellent value for money and I would highly recommend the course at Food at 52

Book now.... you won't regret it!!
This is my second visit to Food @ 52 and boy, did it deliver! They never disappoint! Jean-Marc was so funny, personable, informative - we all learnt a lot and had so much fun in doing so. Cannot recommend this location enough! Have done the Christmas special and also the Italian night and they were both delicious!! Will definitely be returning!

    Team building evening
Great corporate team building evening. We arrived early but due to the pouring rain were welcomed into the cosy living room with its eclectic ornaments! The kitchen naturally gets hot and very noisy with different sets of instructions being shouted around for the different groups. Very knowledgeable staff and I definitely learnt a few things. The food was some of the best Indian I've ever tasted.

    Special Christmas Lunch
We had a fantastic time today and enjoyed the experience. We would love to go again and highly recommend that more people join and engage with this communtiy. We made an astonishing and delicious Vegtable Wellington the most succulent roast potato. Yet again loved the whole experience and would highly recommend it. Thank you!

    Highly recommended
A really enjoyable Sunday afternoon. Learned lots of new things from Tom even though I have cooked Keralan food previously. More importantly a great relaxed atmosphere, the wine flowed, the food was tasty and the two couples in my group were great fun. Definitely my best birthday present

Mean Molly …. What a dish
The environment was special designed to my taste very eclectic bohemian and focused on food. We make prawn curry called Mean Molly, a dish I can now make without referring to the recipe. Sublime flavours from a few ingredients but the way it came together was very impressive. Excellent guidance and tuition focused company everyone wanted to get it right! Great tips on make prawn stock stock YES! I and others who have tasted my Mean Molly are very impressed

    Best Cooking Class in London!
What a fabulous experience! Just finished the 5hr Pasta class and it was heaven. I feel like I've just completed a gastronomic tour of Italy all without leaving Central London! Stefano was a class act, charming and fun he lead the class with with MASTERFUL advice and fabulous interpersonal skills, he has a lifetime of experience and it shows! James' constant support was sensational, oozing knowledge and expertise, such a great asset! Lauren and Maria were the true heroes of the day... They did all our washing up and even did it with a smile! The food was delicious but it was the staff and that made this so special. Devine and wholesome. I'll definitely be back soon! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A wonderful way to learn about a new cuisine!
I took the all day Southern Indian class, which was amazing. Tom, the chef-instructor was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm. We managed to cook an amazing 9 recipes during the day, as well as have the time to enjoy them as part of a meal together at the end. The Meen Moly - Prawn Curry was the standout dish among them, though they were all excellent. It was a small group (as I recall there were 8 of us), and it was fun to meet interesting people equally committed to cooking. Free flowing wine was also much appreciated. Highly recommended all round!

Super event, delicious food, and free flowing wine
All day South Indian cookery course: What a brilliant gift/experience it was. The premises are quirky and beautifully done. Tom was our teacher on the day - he was very engaging and funny, and shared also a number of cooking tips which I certainly took away with me. In fact all staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We cooked a number of dishes, which the all day course allowed, and the menu had been adapted for our group's dietary requirements (about 40% were vegan). We therefore had great variety. I have learnt how to make hugely flavoursome curries in much less time (20 minutes instead of hours), which is a great. I may have been lucky with 'my' group as we all got on well; however I suspect a reason for that was the ambience created by Food at 52. And the final point: the wine was decent and free-flowing from the outset.

4th time we have been - this time for a trial Portuguese cooking class.
Great group and the Food at 52 team are always so friendly and helpful.
We learned some great new recipes and they didn’t disappoint. Favourite was Sea Bream Escebeche with 2 types of bean stews a close second!
Free flowing wine or soft drinks helps keep you hydrated!
Always a fun way to spend a few hours.

I bought my nan (who has always wanted to do a cooking course) a voucher for her birthday. We attended the full day Italian class and absolutely loved it.

The venue itself was cosy and homely, fully kitted out with all the equipment and high quality ingredients. We were taught to make the most delicious Italian dishes and sat to enjoy them as a group. We learnt so much about Italy and their cuisine. Everything was prepped when we got there, and cleaned up for us. The wine kept flowing, and water was topped up regularly.

The staff were so friendly as soon as we arrived, they were so knowledgeable and patient. We had such a laugh, the staff made it so fun!!

Thank you for a wonderful experience that I will cherish forever, such a special day spent with my lovely nan 🥰 she said she had the best day!

I went to the Italian class with friends and had the most fantastic day. We all felt a real sense of achievement after kneading and squeezing for what seemed like ages and ending up with the most delicious fresh tagliatelle. Jean Marc was both entertaining and knowledgeable so in a few hours I felt I had learned tons about cooking and presenting food. We also had a great time drinking wine and chatting - a fabulous antidote to a grey rainy day!

5 hours of Italian cooking. Amazing Italian chef who taught us, a group of 8. He demonstrated but also made us do the essential bits of cooking. We ate little meal after little meal with proper course at the end. Wine and soft drinks through out. Helping staff also super nice. Just a really nice experience and I will be cooking all these meals at home soon! Ellen

Wonderful evening, a great mix of tuition and being able to watch and absorb the atmosphere. I did the 3hr pasta course and made ravioli, gnocchi and biscotti. Delicious food and great company, would highly recommend.

I attended the French cooking class on a Monday night with my husband and daughter. We all absolutely loved it!
The level of cooking expertise and instruction from Jean-Marc and owner Emily was excellent and there was a lovely relaxed and convivial atmosphere throughout the evening. Wine was plentiful, as was the chat with other guests.
The staff were super friendly and efficient and the decor of the kitchen was cosy and aesthetically beautiful.
Sitting down to eat the delicious food we’d made - which included some fun flambé action - was the icing on the cake!
I learnt a lot about the more subtle and successful way of making staple French dishes like Tomato Tarte Tatin, Pomme Dauphinois and Chicken Provençal.
Can’t recommend this class highly enough!
