The idea of cooking top level cuisine and having fun with a group of people was a new experience for us. Jean-Marc was our chef for the evening and his even-temper was a far cry from chefs we see on television. Helpful, good-humoured and patient (even with me!) made for a fascinating evening. Our group of 8 were all experts at the end of the evening, the food we all cooked was superb and there were no complaints to the chef. Nothing was overwhelming, the wine flowed as freely as you wanted and the helpful staff cleared away with smiling efficiency as we prepared our dishes. It was a lovely night, we all had fun and felt bonded and proud of our achievements.

I can’t recommend this event highly enough. I attended with my family and we had such a fab day. Easy location, just a short walk from the tube. Our chef was so patient and took time to help us all. We laughed a lot but also learnt so much too - can’t wait to try making these recipes (that they have sent to us following the event) at home!!
Thank you so much again for a great time!

We did the Indian Street Feast lesson, it was great, menus were delicious, free wine, teas and coffees and elderflower for my pregnant wife. Tom spent lots of time teaching us chopping and was basically brilliant

My colleagues and I had a fun night out at Food at 52. There was an unbelievably wide range of cuisines to choose from - from fresh Italian pasta to Vietnamese to South Indian (which we settled on). The cooking process was fun and the final outcome made all of us feel like very competent Indian chefs! Special shoutout and extra stars to Jean Marc for the practical kitchen skills he generously shared with us! Will definitely recommend!

The food was amazing and it was great fun
It was a Xmas present for me and my daughter and we both had a fab time.
Met some really nice people and loved the pasta making but the best was the butternut squash risotto

Tom was an excellent host and chef.
We would book again on one of the many courses that are available and would definitely recommend to a friend.
Experience was interactive and hands on. We were made to feel very comfortable all the way through.
Support team that helped tom on the day were fantastic too.

Had a fantastic day learning to cook South Indian cuisine, one of my favourites! The staff were friendly, informative, and made the recipes very accessible to learn and try. Thoroughly recommended! Justin
